Luis Vargas: Musician/Designer

Luis was born February 9th 1977 in San José, Costa Rica and moved to Toronto, Canada in 1998. Saved by Grace and follower of Jesus Christ. Luis has been working in the Mobile Content industry since 2004 and has worked for companies like SilverBirch Studios, and m-Qube / VeriSign Mobile, where he had the great opportunity to do work for high end clients, gaining great experience in the Ringtone and Mobile Content Industry. The following are a few of the artists Luis has done Mobile Content work for: * Sting • Madonna • Public Enemy • Much Music • Universal Music • MTV • Warner Music, among others * Work done through former employer: VeriSign He has worked as a Web Designer and also as a free lancer working on both Print and Web Design. Luis is married to Claudia and have a beautiful little girl called Abby Rebecca. In 2009 Luis and his good friend and business partner Batsirai Chada, founded Adoro Studios, Inc. and WorshipApps. This is my 90 year old neighbor Ernie. He worked in Hamilton for many decades making wood molds for parts to then be made out of steel. He's a wood master and also a super athletic man. Recently he learned how to build (and play) ukuleles. He's made 5 of them so far. What used to take him weeks creating a mold, a 3D computer has replaced his job making the same thing in minutes. Today we spent sometime discussing music, scales and wood. Oh ... not to mention that he and his wife Cecilia are the joy of our neighborhood always serving others. I have so much respect and love for them.
