I don’t think we as a fandom fully utilize the force in more intimate ways.
I was just thinking about Eldritch Luke Skywalker and him using the force to “feel” Din before they are married.
Like they need to get around that helmet somehow. He has a large muscular Mandalorian to jump, and Luke is impatient.
The first time Din feels Luke’s force on his face, it felt so much like fingers he flinched with his whole body.
After that he became addicted to Lukes touch, both physical and through the force. The Jedi would use it across his face and neck, places he had NEVER been touched before. Din shivers and shakes, blushing HARD and groaning quietly.
It drives him crazy and Luke knows it. So during a meeting when Luke wants to tease him, he uses the force to emulate two lips kissing up and down his neck.
Din can barely get through the wedding ceremony fast enough.
He decides that the pretty Jedi will definitely be the death of him.
real art supremacy
I NEED more Beru and Owen raising literal mini Eldritch Skywalker monster Luke.
It’s like that scene in The Incredibles when Jack Jack has all of these powers and the babysitter just freaks out.
Like, they know about the force but they don’t really know.
Until Luke starts to grow up and he just is…odd.
He tells stories about imaginary people, that is until they realize he is talking to spirits and ghosts around Tatooine. He sits for hours talking to people who aren’t there. He talks about his grandma and grandpa. Beru and Owen just look at each other and move on quickly.
Or he has nightmares that make the entire farm shake at night. He sees memories that aren’t his own. He tells Owen when he is eight that he keeps having a nightmare of a lava planet and burning skin.
They are so happy that they are in the middle of nowhere because Luke reaches puberty and things begin to float randomly when he is upset. They have to try to hide it from Luke himself who is ignorant of the force.
Luke cries when Wedge leaves for the rebellion (he had a crush). Luke storms in crying and running to his room. Owen has to jump to sit on a crate when it begins to float off of the ground. Beru races to snatch all of the little nick-nacks out of the air while Luke slams his door closed.
Every thing is on Velcro or latches or literally bolted down. When Luke asks they say it makes it easier to keep track of things.
Owen just has to get used to random animals showing up at the homestead.
Little Luke: *staring out at the wastes*
Owen: whatcha doing kiddo?
Luke: waiting for my new friend!
*Little krayt dragon appears and starts playing with Luke*
Owen: *staring at the mother watching over the ridge*
Owen: how did Shmi do this with Anakin..
Bo Katan: You really let a blonde man talk to you like that?
Din: He's not *just* blonde, he's also an eldritch horror and my husband.
Luke, just slightly levitating and emanating vibes both chill and unsettling on an instinctual level: Sometimes I dream about the heat death of the universe :)
Din: See? Adorable.

Bro…. Chubby Din
Din Djarin finally settling down at the Jedi school with Luke and GAINING a little weight for the first time in his life.
For his entire life, his body was a weapon. A tool for a purpose. He trained his body like he cleaned his weapons, daily and efficiently.
When he moves in with Luke he begins to do the same. But after a few years the slow life changes him. Luke persuades him to sleep in a bit later. He has better food and eats more often.
His most strenuous activity is sparing with Luke and other intimate things. But they are not nearly enough to keep him as sculpted as he used to be.
So he grows a little gut, it hangs over his pants. Luke finds him one morning looking in the mirror, frowning and cradling his stomach.
Luke has to jump him to show him how much he loved Din all soft and fluffy.
UHGGGGHHHH
Obsessed with Din and LOVE HANDLES !!!!
Din Djarin with soft biceps and a PHAT chest. 🫠 I think I’m drooling a bit.
Dinluke Headcanon
Din realizes that he is in love with Luke Skywalker after watching the planet of Mandalor fall in love with him.
I mean after the Jedi school first arrived on Mandalor the Jedi was looked at with extreme skepticism and suspicion…not that he could blame them. Jedi and Mandalorian’s have always been enemies, opposing forces.
Thus Din is surprised as the strange blonde man slowly makes everyone fall head over heels.
He hears rumors. Of the Jedi fixing their water condensers himself. He’s out in the hot sun for hours. His children students dotting the dunes around him, with shovels and tools making sandcastles while he works.
Then he takes it upon himself to help clean up the ship hangar after a sand storm before anyone noticed. He used the force so it only took him maybe ten seconds. But when the crews got to the hangar that morning it saved them hours of labor.
No one REALLY notices him until they see him fight though.
Someone really stupid tries to attack the burgeoning Mandalorian city and they aren’t expecting their ship to be literally ripped in half by a smiling blonde man with a goofy smile.
The next week he carries around a round cheeked baby in a chest carrier around the square. Mandalorians almost fall to their knees in the street.
A few days later he uses the force to save a Mandalorian child from being crushed by falling debris.
He gets four marriage proposals in two days.
Din watches seething in hatred.
It’s only after watching the Jedi turn down like fifty more that he finally snaps and realizes why he is so angry about the idea of Luke being in a relationship. Because HE wanted to be the one with him.
✨ Eldritch Luke Skywalker Headcanon ✨ (slight Dinluke)
Luke has always loved animals.
There were not many animals on Tatooine. But he was a desert child, through and through. His aunt used to have to check the folds of his clothes for stray desert mice or lizards snuck in there as “friends”.
It wasn’t until he became a Jedi that he realized why he loved animals so much. He had been talking about it with Han after a run in with a rancor.
Luke: why would you shoot at it!? It was clearly not trying to hurt you!
Han: *panting from running for his life* what do you mean not trying to hurt me!? It was running at me roaring!?
Luke: but that was because she was scared!
Han: *glaring* how do you know that?
Luke: *shocked Pikacu picture *
He has always kind of just…knew what animals wanted or needed. They didn’t like…talk or anything. He just can kind of you know… sense it.
Han rolls his eyes at the explanation and mumbles something about ‘kriffin magic’.
Luke becomes a vegan after the war. Unable to fully take himself out of the living force, even in the cooked meat prepared for his students.
His students don’t care. They are children. But most of them have the same ability if they really focus. They understand.
When they move the Jedi temple temporarily to Mandalor (to keep Grogu safe or something idk) the Mandalorians are a lot less understanding.
There is a great festival and fresh meat is prepared and served…only for their Jedi guest to not even glance at it!
They all look at him with even more skepticism because of it.
It’s not until Din finds out that it is because of his connection to the animal that he begins to offer more vegetables in the feast.
To any outsider, they wouldn’t blink twice.
The day after the first festival with a Mando’a-blessed salad at the table, Paz wakes him up the next morning bellowing: WHEN WHERE YOU GOING TO TELL ME YOU WANT TO MARRY THE PRETTY JEDI!
Eldritch Luke Skywalker ✨
Eldritch Jedi horror/sweet farm boy Luke Skywalker being the weirdest weirdo ever.
He can take down an army of hundreds then he goes to work on their water condenser, by hand, in the hot sun.
Like he should be using his great and extensive power to raise armies and change the fate of the galaxy but instead he uses them to help old ladies cross the street.
Politicians flock around him to try and get him to work for them; promising money and power. They promise him that he could rebuild the huge temple in the middle of Coruscant. Instead, he brushes them off to set up a school on a back water planet in the middle of nowhere.
He meets Din and the Mandalorians. They are all expecting him to be a self entitled, arrogant Jedi.
Instead he’s like: “ya know your water condensers are in the wrong spot. If yall give me a spochca and 12 hours I can set them up for yall.”
They all stand shocked as he puts on the Star Wars equivalent of a backwards cap and sleeveless tee to take apart the machine and set them up perfectly.

✨More Mahjong Luke and Yoda based on this post and this post. ✨
A normal day at the Jedi temple. Grandmaster Yoda and Master Luke Skywalker sit down for their bi-weekly Mahjong game.
Yoda: Master Windu asking for help on Carathis, says Jedi intervention is dire.
Luke: I agreed that we should send an envoy
Yoda: of healers and diplomats
Luke: *looks up through his lashes and raises one eye brow* that’s what we are, aren’t we? Healers and diplomats.
Yoda: defenders of peace, master Windu would argue
Luke: *in the force* is that what he calls it then?
Luke: the brigands making trouble on Carathis are a direct product of the trade wars instigated on Iona. They are basically hired muscle. If we should go anywhere it’s Iona, to stop the gang lords.
Yoda: *smiles* Next Grandmaster, Windu wishes to prove himself to be. Successful defense of Carathis would signal great leadership.
Luke: yes, leadership… if you were a general. Not a Jedi.
Yoda:….
Luke: I should not have said that.
Yoda: should not have, no…but right you might be.
Luke: *looks up sharply already shaking his head* no no no
Yoda: good contender you would be for Grandmaster
Luke: no no no. I have said already that I don’t want to be Grandmaster. I would suck at it, and YOU know it! I’m too… soft.
Luke: *nodding* yeah, too soft. Leia would be a better choice, if she had stayed a Jedi.
Yoda: Maybe what the Jedi order needs is soft?
Luke: *looks down at his pieces considering for a long moment*
Luke: What if…never mind.
Yoda: run from the truth you can not young Skywalker. Acknowledge your feelings.
Luke: What if I can’t live that life? The “perfect Jedi”
Luke: *thinking about shiny Mandalorian armor and small green hands*
Yoda: No such thing there is. There is only light and dark. Your choices, Luke, make you who you are.
Luke: *tears in his eyes* I- thank you master.
Then, Yoda makes marriage legal for Jedi and Luke gets married to Din and adopts Grogu. Luke then becomes Grandmaster and brings the Jedi to the next golden age. 🥹

My official rant on why I hate Luke Skywalker in the sequels 🌈
I said many eons ago in the comments of another post, that I would discuss my opinions on Luke Skywalker and his depictions in the sequels.
I honestly don’t know why I’m writing this now, other than I was thinking about it, and I want to write it down.
I feel I might get some push back! I’m fine with that! I know that the sequels are loved and although I think they are fine movies (if they weren’t Star Wars) unfortunately they are Star Wars so I have the responsibility as a fan to voice my opinions. I have all of the love and respect for those who disagree with me. Please, I just ask that you read to the end before you respond…
I should also mention. I’m no genius or do I claim to be extremely well educated on Star Wars. I’m just a really big fan who loves Luke Skywalker so freaking much. Okay…here’s my argument:
So, to begin my analysis I would like to start with a thesis. Well…a two part thesis. My first point, (1) At the basis of Star Wars (the canon, legends, extended universe etc) is this essential question about where moral character comes from. It asks us to question whether or not some one can truly be born evil.
The answer is a resounding “NO!” By Georgie Lucas! I.e: Anakin Skywalker.
This only works because of the nature of Anakins forgiveness.
He is forgiven by his son.
This powerful act changes the entire fate of the galaxy.
Luke doesn’t forgive Darth Vader, he forgives his Father.
It is that act that REMINDS Anakin that there is no Darth Vader in the first place. Darth Vader was an excuse not to fight against the oppression and hatred of the world. Falling to the dark side is falling to hopelessness.
Anakin realizes that the Dark Side and the Light are not mutually exclusive. Instead, everyone must find balance between the two. You may desire to do bad things and give up, but we must stop ourselves and turn to the light. We have to try.
He realizes that even with all of the harm he did, he can choose a different path. And so he does! And it saves everyone. Star Wars advocates for this: We all have the capability and capacity to change and to be good.
“So why is this important to Luke and the sequels?” I hear you asking.
That brings us to my second point (2) It matters because Luke is built to forgive. That is his purpose as a character. Everything leading up to that, is his journey to that one choice. Narratively.
In real life, I totally agree that people are more than their choices.
But this is literature. Art is political. Luke does represent his choice because he is a fictional character!
The choice defines his identity, his beliefs, and his destiny. But it also defines the entire story, galaxy and universe. This is meaningful. And cannot be so quickly disregarded.
So…why why why would he run away in the sequels?
I understand the nightmare. I understand Ben and his actions. I understand Luke’s guilt.
But…running?
People argue that Luke is so fundamentally’changed’ by what happened with Ben. They say: That’s what grief does!
Luke SKYWALKER, who forgave Anakin Skywalker after everything he did, supposedly froze from the terror of his almost actions that he ran away to a random corner of nowhere to die alone. Also, thus allowing the galaxy to tumble into the same dictatorship he was raised under. The same one that killed his ENTIRE family.
This feels like a reach!
But that’s what we are supposed to believe. With all of what is shown in the sequels we are supposed to somehow make the assumption that Luke really did go through such intense grief that his entire personality and character identity changed….And we are all supposed to be fine with that as a major part of a giant media franchise??? I feel, as consumers and fans we need to call out bad writing.
Luke supposedly fundamentally changes.
But where do you guys see the change? The shift in his choices? His only realization (if there is one?) is that…he shouldn’t have so much faith in the Jedi texts?
But that is still unclear and fuzzy in the movie. I can’t find a thesis for Luke in the sequels. And that is fundamentally bad.
this is ART people! Characters have a purpose. And a meaning. If Luke Skywalkers purpose in the original trilogy is to forgive, What is his purpose in the sequels?
He doesn’t teach…he doesn’t encourage…he doesn’t help…he is angry. And bitter. And avoids everyone….For no. Fucking. Reason.
His realization, if there is one, has nothing to do with his avoidance of his nephew. The movies just never really addresses it!
I can already hear the angry comments: but the vision! The dream! He had a reason!
I’m sorry but a 30 second barely vision sequence is not enough motivation to completely change the core of a character.
The reason Luke runs is invisible to the audience which creates a HUGE hole in the film.
I understand that mental health and emotions are real but these are movies. The director, writers, etc have a responsibility to make sure that the audience is invested. Being invested means that the audience needs Motivation!
If anyone can come to a single solid consensus for Luke Skywalkers motivation for really any of the sequels I would love to hear it.
I’m tired of “oh he was afraid and hurting.”
Well we don’t fucking see that do we Bethany!?
And WHY!? Why is he hurting? Go beyond vague notions of grief and shame. Create the arc, have a journey, help him change. Instead, there is just kind of random gestures towards character growth.
He is literally just really grumpy and snotty for no real reason than it’s funny to watch Rey…struggle to get him to help her… (which is so stupid and feels somewhat sexist by the writers).
The movies are bad.
Just the writing is poor, the plot doesn’t work, but worst of all is the absolute mischaracterization of not just Luke but the very core of the original trilogy.
We all wanted them to be better. I wanted them to be better!
There were so many better ways to do Luke’s arc. If they really wanted Luke to ‘fall’ from his position, then give us that story. Make us invested. Give us the details because that’s what movies are supposed to do!
Rey is great! I actually love her and Luke, but he feels like he should be as central to her story as Yoda and Obiwan were to him. Instead, Luke could be switched out for really any old Jedi and it would work.
Luke Skywalker doesn’t appear in the sequels. Not the real one. That one stood for forgiveness and empathy above all else.
When I watch the sequels, Luke is nostalgia bait at best.
Because really…What does Luke Skywalker from the sequels ACTUALLY stand for?
Not what we want him to stand for. Or what we think he should stand for. If we take the text for what it is: what does Luke Skywalker really do for the message of the sequels as a whole?
I would argue: absolutely nothing.
And that is fucked up!
Why ruin something we all love? Why do that?
They just clearly had no real care or respect to him or the franchise. If they did, they would have done better.
