I drew Cole (in the au he is called Co'oleh) and Zane in a Glacier Avatar AU I made with my best friend!!
Little notes to the fanclan he is a part of:
• His clan lives underground due to a tragedy and barely leave to the surfce out of fear. Whenever they do however they do not leave their passages for even a medium distance.
-> due to inbreeding and evolution, the clan is very bat looking, with big eyes and huge ears which can listen
• The clan has countless of tiny passage ways they are able to very swiftly move through, which connects them either to the surfce, other living areas, or caves
•The cave dwelling Na'vis dislike outsiders and use their screeches to scare any introuters before they could use their passages to get inside
• They communicate to Eywa through massive beautiful crystals which are in a cluster in one of the areas they can get through in their passages
-> The stones would make beautiful jewelry for human necks..
• Olo'eyktan of the clan is Lelou'O (Lou) and his mate, the Tsahìk is Li'lithan (Lilly) -> that makes Co'oleh (Cole) the next heir to the throne.
• They cover their hair with clay and other herbs to mask it from any potential damages and shield them from strong cave winds
• the little hair bands are actually the holy crystals they use to communicate with Eywa -> symbolic for having her always with her and guide them through the dark passageways and caves
• Zane was born on Pandora as a human along with his twin to his brother Echo -> A space station crashed with a bunch of researchers
• Zane has autism (what a huge suprise ik-) and due to that was looked down upon and therefore not included in the scientific studies of his father and twin brother.. -> Echo sought approval from their father to the point he worked tirelessly to gain it.
• The Avatar was made to mimic the Na'vi from the ice regions to gain more knowledge and hopefully one day get their space station back into orbit or at least to give them a possibility to get a signal to the Headquarters
• One day Echo got the avatar, however Zane neuro-linked himself to it while cleaning, purely out of curiosity which made Echo hate him. (*cough cough future villian alert.*)
-> Julien scolded his son but made him go into the wild world of Pandora either way and on his explorations he got no much success as he lost his way to the Ice/Cold regions and stumbled upon Co'oleh instead. ;]
Annnnddd that's how their love story startteeedd!
