Getting ready for Art Fight and finally delving into some OCs now that I've practiced on my own time a little bit. (●'◡'●) New sketch for a new profile pic! I just dunno what colour scheme to go with though!! Heeeelp!

Hey stinkers, it's been a while! I haven't drawn in a really long time - my degree burns me out pretty good - but I'm working full-time for my co-op rn and managed to draw this during my lunches! It's my character Orion that I use on FFXIV.

I'm getting back into the swing of things slowly but surely. I've been sketching traditionally to practice anatomy and it's helped considerably!

I'm FINALLY done with my semester and shat out finals. God I'm so tired. But I also watched Arcane and I ended up giving the art style a go because the anticipation of trying it out single-handedly kept me going through 4-5 am nights.

Used it on my character Bones, my little crow lad in World of Warcraft, and I did a gif of his eyes pinning and the weird light reflective thingy some animals have. I just couldn't resist.

Maka (Villain AU)

Makaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

This was fun to paint. I used a totally different painting style and process than what I'm used to but you know what, we ball. Gotta practice somehow. Art style isn't quite where I want it to be but it's the t I n y steps.

SKETCHY SKETCH. Finally getting to this, thank God! I've been dying to do this drawing.

Trying to figure out how I wanna design her villain black blood fit. Wanted to get some opinions from y'all. I imagine her as a bit of an "angel of death", especially since her OG black blood dress at the end of the manga has these feather-like accents that hint to her soul-type, aka, the "angel" aspects of her grigori soul. Should I really go ham with the feathers? Any other ideas y'all have for her villain AU for her fit? Maybe I should turn her dress into wings sort of like how Crona has had wings coming out of his body with his black blood. That could be cool.

Also looking for some critiques in general tbh. I'm pretty rusty.
