I never got around to posting these so I’m going to now! Headfanon of Varrick and Zhu Li’s children originally for Zhurrick week’s ‘Kids’ prompt:
Varrick Jr is first born - their fire bending daughter who loves to aggressively assist people. Often mistaken for a boy but she likes it. Constantly raiding her father’s wardrobe and energetically helping out her dad and brother with their experiments. Prone to fits of drama and tends to create drama just to stir things up and be the center of attention. The fire-bending comes from Zhu Li’s lineage which was a pretty big suprise to both Varrick and Zhu Li when they found out. She’s a huge help in the lab but sometimes a little too trigger happy with her firebending.
Zhuzu is second born - their quiet genius son. Always coming up with great ideas and working them out. Doesn’t care much for knowing people and usually only associates with his sister or his mom who he’s very close to. He tells Zhu Li everything about his newest greatest ventures but his relationship with his dad Varrick is rocky because Varrick is always trying to change Zhuzu’s ideas in some way. Varrick does this because he thinks he’s bonding with his son but Zhuzu is very possesive of his creations and takes it as an insult. They’re both too self-centered to see the other’s point of view, much to Zhu Li’s amusement who is the bridge between them.
