Finished this the other day and I can't stop thinking about it. I think it's a must read for any MCR fan. The characters literally go to one of their concerts at the end, it's amazing.
Just wanna give a heads up though, the story also explores themes around mental health. Including things such as self-harm, abuse and attempted suicide, so please keep that in mind if these are upsetting subjects for you.
Tapping the sign.
most important post on the planet btw
I love just how little homage Marissa Meyer’s fairy tale retelling characters pay to their Disney counterparts only for Cress and Thorne’s dynamic and character archetypes to be clearly and blatantly based on Rapunzel and Flynn Rider.
Like she looked at those two and said, yk what? I can’t out do the doer.
i fucking hated your shoelaces this entire time
People are theorising that the Lunar Chronicles adaptation is going to condense the story by having parts of Cinder and Scarlet happen at the same time. However, I propose that they might introduce Cress much earlier too.
The botched rescue still happens like it does in the books, but throughout Cinder/Scarlet there'll be moments when we cut to her satellite. She isn't part of the crew yet, but we watch as she becomes their hacker guardian angel. It'll also be a good way to foreshadow the wolf soldier attack, as we see her unknowingly sneak their ships onto Earth.
I can imagine a scene were the Rampion has just narrowly missed being discovered, and like Book Thorne, Movie Thorne thinks it was because of Cinder's Lunar powers. Then we just see a shot of Cress FRANTICALLY typing away at her net screens, because these IDIOTS are flying through space like they aren't wanted criminals.

THIS. this is television.
The Branagh family were such an integral part of Young Dracula's charm. I really missed them in the later seasons.

this is why commas are so
important 🤓
Where do you think the comma goes
Hollywood making American adaptations of British books is such an odd phenomenon to me, especially since I've never seen it happen the other way round. Like, imagine if somebody made Scottish Twilight.
thank you to whoever wrote this
Not shaving and not wearing make up are literally nonbehaviors. They’re a complete lack of action. But doing nothing is considered masculine because women are not allowed to just be. this goes double for trans women.
reblog this version because transmisogynists don’t know how to fuck off.
I don't like when my name is featured in a work of fiction. I did not say you could use that
I think that the Lunar Chronicles movie coming out in 2028 instead of the 2010s is very significant. Back then they probably would've focused hard on making it another Hunger Games clone, and then put Counting Stars on the soundtrack or something.
