Another revenge for artfight. Drawing dragons is so hard, but I'm so so happy with how he came out. This is Lord Höðr, by TheIndigoSentinel on artfight.

Two revenges. Trying my best to revenge everyone before the end. Running out of steam a bit though... ^^: Left: Lyklin Right: Cassia Vijay
This artfight I decided I wanted to create a huge mass attack, it took me WAY WAY longer than I expected, but somehow I managed to finish it. Sadly I did have to scrap some of the ideas that I had. Sorry to anyone whose character I couldn't include. Thank you so much for everyone whom filled out the hitlist. I really hope you like the end results! Characters by number 1. Feraian 2. Scorpio 3. Friedrich Schäfer 4. Kemco 5. Nilah 6. Soren Husk 7. Alex 8. Arthur Vancouver (Artichoke Greens) 9. Evon 10. Firosa 11. Calista "Cindy" Labelle 12.Jay

When the fearsome dragon god just likes to forage for berries in his lil piece of the woods 🥰
Lemon (Ignore that I totally posted this to the wrong blog before. Oops.)
I may have forgotten to flip the switch...
Twice
Drew Olympic Figure Skaters LOPAREVA Evgeniia / BRISSAUD Geoffrey. They used Blue from Eiffel 65 amongst others and I just really liked their set. Wish I'd been able to grab more screenshots of specific moves that really highlighted their personality. But I wasn't able to last night and I can't watch it back anymore. ;-;
Some months were better than others this year, hence the sketches. I also made an entire Vtube model spanning part of August and September, I felt that was worthwhile to include. Next year I should do more studies and practice.
Uploading some of my old art reminded me of how much I enjoyed drawing gems in the past. So I tried my hand at it again. Although this time I kept my brush strokes more loose.
Your work captures a lot of depth, it's almost like you start at the back of an object and then draw it layer by layer until you reach the viewer's eye, I'm curious how you make your translucent subject have such a gemmy quality to it, is it by studying the faceted stones for so long or did some other subject catch your eye and bring you into that type of work?
You’ve hit the nail right on the head. Part of making translucent objects really feel see-through is starting with the background and environment around them first. (Sometimes you can cheat if you keep the background very simple and abstract and focus wholly on the gem itself. But you’ll still need to be mindful about what colours you select for your background as not to create a dissonant feeling between the two.) My fascination drawing shiny transparent things actually started with potions. And moved into gemstones from there. Part of what started me on my art journey were cocktail drawings with cute chibi’s in them by Naschi that’d I’d seen on deviantart back in the day. I really wanted to draw sparkly looking drinks like that myself and that’s how my journey in drawing all things shiny began.
Red Currants
Just some experimental red currants. Sadly I find red currants too sour myself, but they are very very pretty.

Posting a lot of my old art because I realised I never shared it here.
