Lost my diary so I had to wait until I got a new one at town. I’m at Beersburgh, Holy One. I also learned the [Noir] skill. Now I can talk like a classic gumshoe whittling down his last moments unraveling a web of lies and conspiracies.

This girl was an envoy of a god? Well… either that or she was completely mad. Either was likely at this point, though that odd box did give some credit towards her words…

“You realize how vague that is, right? There are quite a few ‘almighty’ beings out there. Does your ‘Almighty One’ have a name…?”

“She doesn’t want me to speak her actual name. Something about ‘fate of the world’ or something. She’s not the most direct one.”

“I tried to tell someone her name once and she shot spitballs at me from the sky.”

She’s saying all these things as if it wasn’t the most bizarre thing in the world to hear.

What in the world- what was that… strange box in front of this girl? Was it dictating her actions? It certainly had the hybrid summoner’s attention, this was some form of magic she’s yet to see- she needed to know more.

“Hey, you- what is that strange shape hovering before you?”

“-Ah?”

Urail glanced at her own command box when it was mentioned. So others really could see that, too? That.. certainly did muddy things. She really needed to find a way to hide that.

“It is the Almighty One’s command box. It appears when I choose to make actions-- or she does for me. ..Or the voices in my head. Whichever does first.”
