Bruce: Red Robin, an anonymous gang of robbers has hit every coffee shop, photography studio, and record store in a three-mile vicinity. They also ransacked the Bisexual Skater Association.

Tim, cracking his knuckles: They won't get away with this.

Bruce: Oracle, I need you to switch our internet provider.

Barbara: Last time I was on the phone for seven hours!

Bruce: And Robin, your grandfather is in town. He wants to have dinner. This is an opportunity to get Tim's spleen back.

Damian: Why? He's doing fine without it.

Cass: What about me?

Bruce: You're cleaning your room.

Cass: Impossible. Next mission.

I like the storylines of Leo being the last to understand his emotions due to his lack of experience with emotional relationships, which is why he became distrustful after what happened with Karai (Which makes him wish the earth would swallow him up because of how embarrassing it was when it was mentioned to him) At this stage, Leo is almost 20 years old, so he is less shameless than when he was younger; He's not so good at thinking about romantic relationships anymore.

I love the idea of Tim clocking Bruce was Batman as a small child but the problem is that he is a small child. Tim at a charity event with his parents and they're passing Bruce and Tim just tugs at Janet's hand snf he's like "Dad, that's Batman" and the Drakes are all, "Oh don't be silly, Timmy."

Then a few years later, Bruce is at a gala and Jack and he are bonding over their kids and Jack has to tell him that his Tim, his silly little boy, thinks that Bruce is Batman. And Bruce is chuckling, like "yo that's crazy" until he looks around and... is that? There's Tim pressed up against a window.

Battle Nexus spoilers!

I read the latest issue last night and i literally entered flow state, because i just couldn't stop reading and the passing of time felt somehow lighter.

I'm not a big fan of multiverses, generally speaking, but these kinds of interactions between characters that had all of their different journeys, with their ups and downs, collide into a single history where they get to know each other and help each other out, feels like divine fate. It's such a huge event that can either happen marvelously or lead to a complete narrative disaster.

all i know is that 2003 Leo couldn't have said it better.

Dick Grayson who seemed untouchable.

Jason Todd back from the dead three feet taller able to see the top of Dick’s hair.

Watching as Nightwing ruffles the new Robin’s head.

Nightwing who is now soft.

Jason bitter, another thing erased by his death.

Until both little birdies go missing.

Damian and Tim are gone.

The Red Hood leaving bodies. He’s not the one who made Gotham hesitate.

Whispers are spreading. A bird has lost his smile.

Nightwing is quiet.

Nightwing is hunting.

Jason thought that his brother had changed.

He has forgotten what it means to be a performer.

A room of corpses, two little birdies safe and sound.

His brother painted red.

“Didn’t think Red Hood believed in mercy?”

“You call this mercy?”

“Death is mercy…

When Casey was younger, they often visited a beautiful Hamato Garden that Mikey created with his ninpo. It was like an illusion room of a serene place where time stands still. Inside the air felt warm, the light never faded and for a little while it was easy to forget that the world outside was falling apart.

Casey doesn't remember much of the little things he saw there that one can't see anywhere anymore in this broken world, but he always remembers the feeling when he was with his family. Safe.
