With a Champion for a daughter, one would think there is favouritism. But it isn't the case. King Dorephan loves both his children and understands Sidon's enthusiastic pragmatism that without his intention to find someone (who happens to be Link), they'd still be in a dam difficult situation!

Understandable but Accountable
Muzu's development in this quest is understandable from his point of view. Then again, a century long grudge is hard to get rid of and at least he said "perhaps", not even discounting the possibility we will not forgive his transgressions.
[Also he has one of the most unique Zora designs I have seen so far tbh, it really stands out alongside King Dorephan's whale design with Sidon and Mipha's vivid red scales.]
