Note: Keep in mind this post will update and edited from time to time, in case I removed, update or edit something. But for now, enjoy reading about Rei and how a lot I made and wrote about him 😅

A pragmatic and sharp-minded young man with a blunt tongue and a dry sense of humor. Though morally gray and often harsh, he shows genuine care through his actions, often acting as an “unofficial therapist” to those around him.
Physical Appearance:
Messy but Proper, Light Brown hair with Dirty Blonde faded tothe bottom, like an Ombre (yes it's natural, not dyed)
Heterochromia Eyes; Left Eye being Bronze Brown & Right Eye being Silver Gray
Beauty Mark under his left eye, & barely noticeable eyebags under his eyes
Fair & Flawless Skin (tho there's actually scars a few scars underneath his clothes)

(Rei inherentied a perfect 50% of his parents in his appearance, 30% oh his mom's personality, blunt and harsh, 30% of his dad's personality, kind and genuine and perceptive, while the 40% is his own personality, pragmatic but also he can be quite cheeky at times. Rei pragmatic, morally gray, blunt, harsh, kind, genuine, and a realist. Same with his looks, he has his mom's brown hair a spart of him, gray eyes and beauty mark in the same position, whil3 he also has his dad's blonde hair part of his hair, brown eye and fair skin tone. So a 50% of each of his parents, very rare)

Personality (overall, short version):
Rei is a sharp, pragmatic individual with a morally gray outlook. He’s intelligent, resourceful, and adaptable, blending brains with brawn. Though blunt and no-nonsense, he’s fiercely loyal and kind to those he cares about. Rei is empathetic and prefers actions over words, but he can be manipulative when needed. With a strong survival instinct, he lives by his own rules and challenges traditional views of good and evil. He’s also cheeky, chaotic, and always genuine, with a dry sense of humor, and a villainous edge in him.
Personality (Long Version):
Yuurei Yamamoto, also known as Rei by friends, Morally Gray individual with a Realist outlook on life.
He’s highly Intelligent (both logically (IQ) & emotionally (EQ)), Resourceful, Perceptive, and a Skilled Strategist, blending Brains and Brawn in equal measure.
He's also able to Adapt well, once he Understands a task or situation.
While he can be Blunt and No-Nonsense, Rei is ultimately a Good-Hearted person with a Strong Sense of Loyalty and Kindness, especially toward those he cares about.
He doesn't easily fall for manipulation but can be Manipulative when necessary.
He has Self-Preservation, and isn't a huge fan of self-sacrificing. He has a Strong Will of Survival.
He's quite Perceptive, his observations are sharp, and he is quick to call people out when needed. Tho he can be quite curious at times
Though he has a Cheeky and sometimes Villainous side, Rei is Supportive, Offering Guidance and Comfort when others need it, despite not sugarcoating his words.
Rei can also be quite Sassy with some Deadpan Dry Humour added in it.
He also knows how to have fun and can be quite chaotic at times, but knows when to not cross the line in having fun. Sometimes acting child-like.
He's Empathetic, Not Judging people based on their status or past, and prefers to let actions speak louder than words.
With a strong survival instinct and a refusal to accept traditional notions of good versus evil, Rei thrives on doing what’s right for himself and those around him.
Despite his tragic past, Rei remains an Optimistic, Self-Aware, and Independent individual, always living by his own rules.
Rei is basically Blunt & Harsh, but Kind & Genuine. Pragmatic & Morally Gray.
He's an Ambivert
He's someone who doesnt get swayed by manipulation so easily and does what he wants, but knows his boundaries. He himself can be quite manipulative at times, but only when he needs to (he doesn't use it often)
He's resourceful, cunning, intelligent and strong sense of common sense.
He is very analytical and calculative at times, based on tye situation or on things like quizzes
He's someone who goes with the flow.
Rei is somone who has a No-nonsense approach at times. He's very blunt who has no filter.
He's straight foward, and a blunt person when it comes to speaking truth and facts. He's not a afraid to call someone out
Rei is very observant as he can noticed small details if he observed carefully. He's even good at reading people.
Despite Rei's personality and views. He's actually a good and kind person
While he doesn't sugarcoat things, he's patient and considerate, and his actions speak louder than words. He can offer comfort and like say, for example "You can cry on me as long as you need to" or "If it's too hard to explain it yourself, then don't explain"
He can be supportive & encouraging. And also not one to judge too easily. He would even give out advices and give them what they need when they ask for it (despite being blunt & harsh and not sugarcoating his words) (basically an unofficial therapist)
He's a friendly person to a lot of people, even to villains, since he doesn't believe in the typical good and evil as he treats everyone equally like they are just another person, no matter how good or bad they are, he only wants to know who you are as a person, not from your status or your looks. He's not one to judge
He can be a sweetheart and treat you right becasue you deserve it
Rei is also very helpful, he can help you in anyway. And a hardworking person who puts all his effort in what he does
Rei is a genuine and sincere person, someone who doesn't go back on their word. While he is blunt, he is kind.
He's also has good leadership skills, has an unbreakable willpower and is resourceful, also a great strategist.

Okay regarding Rei's physical appearance. And I made this fact back when I was self-concious with my appearance back then and I still kept it, cus I can see it
Rei's Beauty:
Rei is a Pretty Boy, due to his Unique Pretty & Ethereal appearance (Not Handsome like most males, boys & men, just Pretty in general, a beauty that fits both genders, girls and boys alike) along with his Youthful Looks.

The fact that he naturally look like this, no skin care routine or use make up involved. And even when Rei looks so tired and messy/disorganized he still looks pretty. He still has his sharp & strong yet soft and delicate features. Yeah that is like next level beauty
Yuurei Yamamoto is somehow blessed with this natural beauty to be born with. Must be a shock they found out its all Natural, no make up. Effortless Beauty
Rei is aware about this, and honestly there's really nothing he can do about it, I mean he didn't asked to have a pretty face, but oh well, he just accepted it. Tho the constant stares he gets does get Annoying sometimes.
It is also said that Rei has a very soft and beautiful smile that's ethereal & just makes you feel comfort just by seeing it. It even matches his pretty boy look (You can imagine the reactions when they see his Ethereal Smile. Which is rare if him to smile like that. Cause its his genuine smile or when he's laughing, like a genuine laugh. Its like a light from heaven opens and shines behind him when he smiles)
More About Rei:
He's Bilingual, so he can switch & speak both Japanese & English. So there may be some occasional language switch back to back from Rei's speech. Sometimes when Rei gets annoyed or frustrated, his language would slip into Japanese.
Grim and Rei made a great duo. Grim handles and does the magic stuff, something Rei doesn't have. While Rei is highly resourceful and has strong sense of common sense something Grim lacks in his nativity and recklessness.
Rei's got brains, while Grim's got magic, almost like a mastermind
Rei has a "Villain Mode". He is Billain Mastermind core!
Rei even has a dark, serious, scary face a villain would have. But it isn't shown as often. Most of the time it's a strained smile, that you can see his eyebrow twitching & veins popping (think of Shinobu Kocho)
Rei does things what he believes is the right and actually benefits himself, while also keeping others in mind finding what would benefit the better (sometimes does it in order to gain that goal, he needs to navigate and control the system. He can be quite manipulative when necessary.)
Rei has a Will of a Survivor. He wants to live, has Self-Preservation and he's NOT a fan of Self-Sacrifices. He would find way to save others without himself dying.
Rei doesn't have a beautiful singing voice, but has talent in playing any musical instruments. The fact that he didn't even learn how to play and can play it effortlessly is impressive (this is a reference to how Yuu/MC played a musical instrument well at first try in game canon)
Rei makes a himself a good househusband material or Male-Wife Material. Whatever you prefer. He can cook, he can clean, etc.
He's quite athletic and while he doesn't have magic, he can fight and defend himself.
Rei is surprisingly skilled at Potion-making, to the point he got perfect scores in Potionology & Alchemy, passing with flying colors. (He didn't even know he has skills like this until he tried it)
Rei used to live in Britain but after being freed, he has been moved to an orphanage in Japan, and has been livimg there for the rest of his life. He came back to visit Britain, when he turned 16 & got enough m9ney for his flight (and this was before he got transported to Twisted Wonderland and Night Raven College)
Rei may have stea- I mean "borrow" Headmage Crowley's credit card & sometimes spoils himself and others a bit by shopping spree or taking out on restaurants, Rei still respects Crowley and is grateful for him, just think of it as his punishment for leaving him & Grim hanging on certain occasions (example book 4)
He likes taking pictures with the Ghost Camera that Crowley gifted him when he was official enrolled, sometimes he does interviews and does record-keeping for the school.
He's a messy eater, enjoys food & has a huge appetite, just like Grim. Him & Grim eat a lot.
Actually Rei has a very Strange Metabolism, he has a huge appetite that he might have a blackhole in his stomach, and oddest of all, never gains weight or gets chubby despite eating a lot. (Like for example, imagine when Rei's finish eating his table has a stack of plates, more than 20 or higher (sometimes hundred), (sometimes Rei would accidently make the kitchen run out of ingredients.)(think of Ann Takamaki, Iruma Suzuki & those Mukbang videos). Don't worry, Rei can control himself & his hunger, unless he's in the moment.
Due to Rei's morals, he's NOT a fan of stereotyping, he thinks it's stupid. He thinks that this kind of mindset would oversimplify complex issues that can lead to misunderstandings and unfair judgments. He also believes that this can create unnecessary divisions between people who might not actually be that different in terms of their goals or values, they’re approach is just different.
Rei is definitely 100% belonged to Night Raven College.
Background:
Rei's parents died when he was a baby (1 years old), he lived with aunt, uncle and cousin, his father's mean sister, Rei's father was a saint but his sister was the opposite and she envyies and is jealous of her brother, since there's no other relatives of Rei in Britain, who mistreated him for 5 years (forced him to do chrores, derived him of meals, locked him in the basement as his room, etc.). Ever since Rei got out of his abusive relatives house at the age of 6, when they got arrested while his cousin was sent to youth detention center, if Rei were ro be honest, he doesn't even care, I mean they mistreated him, why should he care? And Rei was on his own, he moved at an orphanage in Japan, when they leaen of Rei's half heritage. And Rei had experience the real world, good, bad, in between, everything. Because of this experience he developed a morally gray, Pragmatic and realistic view, at young age. He grew up too fast, didn't really have a Proper Childhood, he had ro learn what adults learn, see and experience.
Rei's an Orphan and is kinda poor, the Orphanage he stayed in for a while and that took care of him, it's not best condition, but trying it's best to provide as much as they can, and doing its best and it's in an area in the Slums. During those time, he would go out on his own to help provide for his orphanage.
As of now, Rei manages well, and has little money, but enough for clothes and food. He even has a part time job and does volunteering that paid him really well.
(He sometimes act cheeky and teasing, playful and quite chaotic at times, cus there's a part of him wanting and longing to be like a normal kid again. But he doesn't realized that. Yet. He acts mature, yet he acts childish too)
There's actually an explanation for that Metabolism: It's possible that Rei’s metabolism is a result of years of deprivation, particularly during his early childhood when he went without proper nutrition. His body may have adapted in an extreme way, leading to an unusual ability to burn calories incredibly quickly—possibly even at a rate that's too fast, which could explain his inability to gain weight despite massive food intake. This could also have other side effects, like nutritional imbalances or potential damage to certain organs if not addressed. Rei's metabolism is likely a result of his body adapting to the severe deprivation of food he experienced as a child. During those early years of neglect, his body would have been in a state of "survival mode." This can lead to several physiological changes, such as Efficient Caloric Utilization, Hyperactive Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) & Hormonal Regulation. On top of the physiological effects, Rei's mental and emotional state might also play a role. After being deprived of food for so long, his body might have become used to an excessive need for sustenance and continues to act as if it’s in a state of deprivation, even though it's no longer the case.
Rei's Weakness/Vulnerability:
Rei is actually unconsciously love-starved and also emotionally deprived. Even he doesn't realizes it.
He also has repressed desires of love, any kind of love, and connections, even not wanting to be alone again and he doesn't realize it himself.
Rei is also touched starved (like he doesn't want this to end. It feels so warm, comforting and nice)
And craves for affection (whether it's by words or physical) and to be loved, he never have been loved or loved anyone in his life until recent years. He isn't sure if he's really capable of love.
Love is...well it's honestly hard to describe what it is for Rei.
They are all unconcious and repressed that Rei doesn't realized he's unconsciously repressing. 💔
He never received or given love before, cus Rei grew up unloved for most of his life, and had never received or given any kind of love before.
Rei unconsciously craved for love. Any type of love, Romantic, Platonic, Familial, etc.
While he does care and is fond of friendship, he isn't sure he could love them.
Rei's vulnerable side, he has never shown or realized it yet (Rei rarely cries, but when he does it's rare sight, when Rei's unconscious repressed desires finally let out like water breaking out of a dam)
In truth tho, or theory, Rei isn’t incapable of love. He’s overflowing with it. He just needed someone to show him it’s safe to let it out.
it's a Weakness/Vulnerability (because it’s unfamiliar to him), that can be cultivated & grown into strength.
This is psychologically consistent with his background. With children who grow up without consistent affection
Though Rei is incredibly awkward when it comes to romance. Like, even more than some individuals.
Rei has 0 romance experience, so he tends to short circuit a times (frozen, blushing red face, unable to utter a word and steaming, literally), because he doesn't know what to do with these types of things and how to approach it (I guess it's something similar to a gay panic, which he'll soon get used and get over it.)
Fun fact when I made Rei:
I'm not sure if any of you know this, but I'm huge into Harry Potter, as you probably can tell from my creation of an AU, that is Draco Malfoy and the Twisted World of Wonderland.
I created Rei based on Harry himself. Plus he was actually gonna be a Yuu who also got Isekai'd to TWST, along with Harry Potter (that will be an explanation for another time. And how this my first OC x Canon of Harry and Rei. Ahaha)
But you can see that both Harry and Rei have similarities with each other, in both part of their traits and personalities.
Harry Potter and Yuurei "Rei" Yamamoto are different from each-other of course, but they have similarities and have things im common to each-other, in traits, parts of their personalities and all that
They have the same living situation, good leadership, strong willpower, intelligent, get both can get scary when angry, both are resourceful, both can be stubborn, and other things
But of course, they have major differences.
When I made Rei, there was one thing that always came into my mind.
"What if Harry's life took a different turn?"
No magical society, no prophecy about him, what of someone caught on thr abuse and called the police, and vice versa.
And Rei was the result.
Basically Rei is basically what Harry might have become, if things were different. (As you can clearly see on the love part)
I also have an AU where Rei has magic and is a Hogwarts Students, in HP Canon and vice versa, with changes and ofc, the afformention, OC x Canon of Harry x Rei, that will maybe get into the future. Or not.
Cus I made tgem perfect for each-other.
Also, Rei is Slytherin. But he's a Muggleborn Slytherin. No questions asked.
And he would think majority of the Wizarding World is Incompetent, and the whole Light vs Dark thing, his Gray Mindset would clash. He'll join the Light to fight the Dark tho, but on his own terms. Tho he doesn't believe in Greater Good or Prophecies.
