So with The Shape of Home completed, I uploaded my new longfic called By Any Other Name - an alternate telling to Delayna Black origin.

Which means that my new focus is to finish editing For the love of a Son so I can then move onto it's sequel, Chronica, that's ready to go.

Once that's done with, then I'll focus on The Smallest Shift.

So in total, I'll be working through 5 stories and FINALLY create that update schedule.

Story: The Smallest Shift

“I woke up in a story I already knew the ending to and spent the rest of my life trying to decide whether to change it.”

SUMMARY:

Delilah Garcia didn't exactly plan on a second life. But here she is — settled into a quiet little house on Privet Drive, living something that almost feels like it could be hers.

Almost.

Because she knows this street. She knows what's hiding behind the perfectly trimmed hedges next door. She knows who that small, quiet boy is and everything he's going to have to go through before it's all over.

She's not going to get involved. That's the plan. Keep her head down, keep her distance, and remind herself that knowing something isn't the same as changing it.

Except Harry Potter isn't just a story anymore.

He's literally next door.

And Delilah has never really been the type to look the other way.

Writers have two modes and they are "i haven't written in three weeks and i am rotting from the inside and everything feels wrong and i don't know who i am anymore" and "i wrote for four hours straight and forgot to eat and it's dark outside and when did that happen and i feel like a god" and there is nothing in between. no chill. no medium setting. just famine or feast and a very confused nervous system.

Working on a new story called Chronica - a retelling of Harry Potter from Draco's perspective featuring a Gryffindor Delayna Black 🦁

I normally write her as a Slytherin but this time around - so as to keep the instant access, well, distant - she'll be in Gryffindor.

This is the sequel to my Narcissa Malfoy's oneshot "For the love of a son" which I'll soon upload one as I edit it - hopefully by tomorrow!
