Cute moment of my imagination
The whole background of Trinity is really interesting and sad, I hope they develop it in the following seasons, because she is a complex character with too much potential.
I would also like to know more about his years in gymnastics.
this too so fast never drawn faster
Honestly, I have nothing appropriate to say; it’s simply Mel and Frank deeply longing for each other.
prediction for season 3:
it will somehow be established that mel has a crush on langdon, probably only to us (the audience). because she will understandably feel weird about it, she ignores it by putting all her focus onto all kinds of other things during the shift (AS SHE SHOULD! babygirl is more to the pitt than just a love interest, don't reduce her character!!!).
langdon meanwhile will be bringing up abby and his family to anyone that will listen almost too frequently, and so her feelings will not seem mutual.
mel will be in the ambulance bay alone at the end of the season (maybe talking to becca), just looking ashamed and sad and reflecting over whatever cases happened that day, but then, as usual, langdon runs into her on his way out.
they exchange some kind of brief conversation (maybe an inside joke reference?), and then mel leaves first.
langdon watches her for a moment, then takes his wedding ring off.
"hey mel, you got a sec?"
END.
(and then i die)
(none of this will happen)
On VHS in Every Universe (1 of 2)
ugh i HAD to do my duty and draw my most favorite character ever since i started watching the pitt. mel king i love you 🩵 if you wanna see my creative process it's below!!
I have a headcanon that Santos and Langdon were forced to take drama classes in elementary school.
kingdon and infidelity just go together real bad
if mel and langdon aren’t heading towards a slowburn bestfriends to lovers arc then why have their scenes parallel each other (‘you okay?’ ‘the er can be a little bright and noisy’ etc)? why bring up langdon’s marriage 24/7 and highlight the problems within it? why push the point in season one that langdon understands mel king’s needs (after only a couple hours together) while simultaneously highlighting that he doesn’t understand his own wife’s needs? why show the strain on their relationship over and over in season one before the substance abuse/rehab is even on the table? why have him act weird when abby is mentioned? why have him reveal that abby threatened to divorce him & that almost lost his kids, not that he almost lost the love of his life because of his addiction? why have becca ask if mel’s found a boyfriend yet if that’s not going to be explored? why have frank be the only one mel trusts to treat becca? why show becca and frank bonding? why have becca tell frank that mel says nice things about him? why have her explicitly use present tense and not past? why have her say that at all when mel only spent twelve hours with him some ten months ago? why have becca say she understands why she likes him and have mel look totally embarrassed and called the fuck out? why have frank be the only person in the goddamn hospital who actually listens to mel and challenges her whilst still validating her feelings? why show two people who are feeling isolated, lonely and battered by life, needing the one thing that the other can offer (frank wants someone to care for, mel wants to be cared for)? why have a plotline showcasing mel’s fears about her sister’s newfound independence and of being left behind (‘i’m gonna be all alone’) while also highlighting langdon’s loneliness in rehab (‘10 months is a long time alone with your thoughts’)? why have mel almost hug langdon when he comes back? why give them so many callbacks to their earlier interactions? why give them an ‘inside thing’ when they’ve known each other less than 24 hours? why have them smiling once in a blue moon and nine times out of ten it’s when they’re together? why have her be the person saying exactly what langdon needs hear (‘i let a lot of people down’ ‘you never let me down’)? why randomly take the time to mention mel’s niche interest in the renaissance fair (and have the one guy who’s shown romantic interest in her put her down for that interest) only to have have frank a few episodes later gush over the the fort pitt history museum with stars in his eyes (that adds literally nothing to the plotline except weirdly show that mel and frank are both history nerds)? why have frank looking at mel like That? why have mel looking at frank like That? why? why? WHY?
Mel getting her favorite people together is the funniest thing ever.
(Frank and Trinity definitely have sibling energy).
one detail we’re not talking about enough from the kingdon break room scene in season 1 is that when langdon tells mel to take the break, he says he will COME FIND HER IF HE NEEDS HER and then HE DOES and REPEATS TO HER THAT HE’S THERE BECAUSE HE NEEDS HER.
same girl, same
bring your kid to work day
frank and mel are ready for the cold
Mel’s smile when Langdon showed her his shaking hand they’re both fucking freaks your honour
@noahwylie is this how you look at your sibling quickly……..
