pic of kitten for morale. yesterday I did a scary hour during lunch and ended up finding that the $350 hospital bill (for a ten minute phone call) I actually called about was nothing compared to the $3500 I’m about to receive bills for in the mail and also had to schedule another medical appointment for today so I can see for the next year (buying contacts) but vsp sucks ass so the $200 I’m dropping today isn’t gonna go towards my deductible. and someday I’ll die so whatever it doesn’t matter if I have two functioning legs for the rest of my life but it MATTERS because it’s all I get! anyway I have one episode of crash landing on you left and the guy next to me on the subway is translating texts into English so he can flirt with a girl offering to teach him. My boyfriend didn’t buy me Valentine’s Day flowers and he felt so bad about it he was doing pushups til failure outside the bathroom when I got out of the shower. I’m thinking about the disco Elysium February video “there’s something in the trees that’s been bothering you and you can almost see it” IM SEEING IT !!!!! I can SEE IT!!!!!

following up on this post to say I just cried to my insurance “customer advocate” (fuck you fuck you fuck you fuck you AETNA) when they told me they were totally chill to charge me $300 for an urgent care visit because they only cover my urgent care after I’ve met my $7k deductible. this is becoming an insurance hate page I hate you Aetna I hate you I hate you

I still owe $2400 for the MRI and X ray (btw, they “approved” my MRI (that’s $1500) but denied the coverage to READ THEM), $500 for the consultation, $150 for the ten minute phone call to tell me my knee is fucked irrevocably,

$660 on my taxes, now $258 for this urgent care, I never received TREATMENT for the issue I got an MRI for, I owe my parents $700, and I need a new phone because right now I have to delete two apps every time I want to take a picture. If you put me in the room with an Aetna executive right now one of us would be leaving with an ear bitten off and it would not be me.

GOOD FINANCIAL NEWS HAS ENTERED THE CHAT,MY FINANCIAL AID APPLICATION HAS BEEN ACCEPTED AND MY $2400 IN BILLS IS BEING CLEARED THIS WEEK. THEY WERE GONNA SEND MY ASS TO COLLECTIONS AND I APPLIED FOR FUN BECAUSE THEY WANTED ME TO PUT IT ON MY CREDIT CARD.

I would still bite the ear off an Aetna exec but in the meantime I’m going to enjoy this.
