Trying Hard to Survive

Trying a long shot to see if I can find help here. I'm Briar. An Elder Enby who's disabled with migraines and vertigo, trying to survive homelessness in a state where that's illegal. And also trying to keep my father safe who's 70 and disabled from a stroke. Added to it is the holiday this week, our van deciding it wanted to die, and navigating everything else happening right now. Hey everyone, I know this week has already been hell for me, but I've been informed that my girlfreind Nyssa is now over $1500 in debt, among other things. She has only a couple days to pay off this debt. I have no idea if this going to fucking work because quite frankly, that's a fucking insane ammount of money but I'd feel worse if I didn't do something. i completely understand & agree with the backlash against students using chatgpt to get degrees but some of you are out here saying "getting a degree in xyz means pulling multiple consecutive all-nighters and writing essays through debilitating migraines and having severe back pain from constantly studying at your desk and chugging energy drinks until you get a kidney stone and waking up wishing you were dead every day, and that's just part of the natural process of learning!!!" and like. umm. i don't think that any of us should have had to endure that either. like maybe the solution for stopping students from using anti-learning software depends on college institutions making the process of learning actually sustainable on the human body & mind rather than a grueling health-destroying soul-crushing endeavor

As many of you know, I've been struggling financially and with my mental health for some time, luckily my mental health has improved actually and I've been doing little jobs like pet sitting and doing chores/paperwork for people to be able to pay rent as also looking for a full time job

right now i'm only want to be able to pay rent on time before the 29th so i won’t be getting us into trouble with our landlord

so im doing this again for grocery money. I know, I'm sorry. I am also tired of living in a dystopia. need to raise $30 dollars to go to the dollar gentral for coupon Saturday (and yes we pronounce dollar gentral like that because it's funny)

also I'm going to try to open my ko-fi with spreadsheets for the spoonless this weekend. I'll post about that separately when it's ready. all sheets will be $5 and my first offering will be a streaming services tracker that I used to use myself. it's really helpful for tracking what you signed up for during yearly sales, which email and credit card you used, when the deal you have expires, etc. it also includes a streaming TV comparison table to compare the pricing and add on options so you can see how much you're really paying. I just need to update it for 2025 and add some notes

I'm also working on a home chores and maintenance sheet that breaks it out by area, how often it needs doing, how to do it, and approximate time and energy levels. for those times when you only have one spoon to devote to taking care of your environment

why spreadsheets? apps are great and all and I do use Google tasks for reminders right now but spreadsheets are flexible, ubiquitous and not going to be abandoned by a developer without time or money, or sold off to a mega-corporation and absorbed into an inferior product (Wunderlist my beloved I miss you so)
