how do u make cosplays so fast and also how do u have so much aura bro 🥹

I can answer the first question in all sincerity though. There’s two reasons why sometimes I can absolutely speed run a cosplay (and have a history of doing so). The first is that I’ve been cosplaying for almost 10 years now, and a lot of my closet has pieces that work for a lot of more generalized cosplay looks. Because I’ve been doing this for so long I’ve got a bunch of wigs, makeup, accessories, outfits, ect. That I’ve just amassed, making it easier to quickly put things together.

And two- for anything that is a more specialized garment, and something to be made from scratch, I’m a hoarder of fabric (particularly from selvedge and thrifted sources). Pair that with having a degree in costume production, and a job where I sew all day, and I’ve got the skills to make new cosplays, pretty fast, and pretty accurate.

The hyperfixation on a character or series also helps tho XD.

The Bannerfall hyperfixation is so bad because I don’t know whether I should spend my free time:

-Working on my next Bannerfall cosplay (Apo)

- Writing the horrifically angsty post cannon fan fic idea I got stuck in my head 2 days ago (despite having not written fanfic before)

-or drawing things for the animatic/PMV for Noms character at the end of the SMP to “when the chips are down” from Hadestown (because I’ve already started story boarding it, but also, I don’t really draw)

Ahhhhhh too much creative content. But also like- I have work to do 🙃
