Cooper recently posted this on discord! I’m so happy to see even more growth and change from him. It’s great to see him donate to a good cause and show that he’s come so far from who he used to be! This is on his discord. You can check, it’s not fake!
I believe that he will apologise for what he said in his own time, but right now he’s dealing with a lot. He’s moving house today, he’s had doxxing threats, he’s been pressured greatly on twt, he’s been accused of grooming one of his friends, his friends are also being harassed over his actions and their own. I think he’s mentioned issues with anxiety in the past, so this can’t be helping if that is the case. I really hope people leave him be for a little while, and just let him think about what he wants to say.
People are comparing this to Carson’s past actions and how he apologised so why can’t Cooper? I’d like to say that there are a lot of differences between their situations that make this kind of comment invalid:
Firstly, Carson wasn’t being pressured to apologise. Most people had forgotten/didn’t know/didn’t care about what he said so he had his own time to apologise without any pressure to do it straight away. Second, Carson was streaming in a relaxed environment when he decided to address what he’d said. Cooper was given a few hours to respond before being completely hounded on twitter, an already toxic and unforgiving site. Thirdly, Carson was given the benefit of the doubt and is treated with much more kindness by his fans than Cooper is, partly because of what happened with K*te. If Cooper apologised, I know for a fact that there would be a lot of people still unsatisfied with the response, calling it fake or saying that he’s just apologising now because he’s been told to. Meanwhile, almost everyone accepted Carson’s apology.
Moving on, though. Crumb has been posting on instagram. Here’s something I screenshotted from her insta yesterday. I think it is obvious that she is still upset and she feels very guilty even though she hasn’t done anything wrong, really. She is 15 and all of the hate must’ve gotten to her. If I was in this situation, I certainly wouldn’t be able to deal with it.
