I really don’t know what’s next? I think in the spirit of the work and love that went into this comm sheet and the kindness I’ve been shown- I’m going to leave these prices as is. Possibly until the end of the year.

I absolutely am dying of nervousness as I write this. 2020 has been a hard year on everyone. So I don’t expect anyone to be shocked that it has been a difficult year for me as well. I have been through the wringer- but I’ve kept myself as busy as I could with building my two main visual novel projects, The Closet Door and Sunset Memory Sunrise Promise. That’s where my passion has been these days. 

Of the $500 I was short a few days ago- I am proud to say that I’ve been commissioned and completed enough commissions to bring my dept down to $0! So I am thankful for all those angels who commissioned me in my time of need- and as well, I love the work I’ve done for them! 

I’m sharing my emergency commission sheet with you, with pricing discounted so that I can quickly complete any work you need, and in turn if commissioned by you I can possibly make enough to save my roof over my head as well as over my son’s. We work- but don’t get paid in time to beat the five day deadline. So I’m truly at the mercy of those who would take a chance on my talent as well as on me. 

Below is pricing for adding backgrounds.

I call this special sheet below same day guarantee, because these are default styles that I can complete rather fast. Each of these images were completed in between 15 minutes to an hour. I consider any background in these styles minimal, as I usually use template brushes or simple watercolors to complete them. It is still imperative that you be available and clear and communicative for this to work, however- if I don’t know what to draw, I can’t get it to you fast!

Guys, it would mean the world to me to be able to stay in my place. Arizona is no place to be homeless, and though I’ve done it before- never here and never in a world wrought by a pandemic. I’ll be glad to take on your project! I’ve got great references and I have yet to ghost on a project.

In Dark of Night, an upcoming ChoiceScript WIP, you are a witch helping your father run a bed & breakfast in the small town of Spellcaster. Home to fey, werewolves, witches, and at least a few ghosts, your little town is more than used to weird. But someone (something?) has begun to terrorize Spellcaster and the woods surrounding it, and ‘weird’ is quickly turning dangerous. 

Tourists are one thing, but this is an entirely different nightmare.

for a little bit of info about me, I’m Rhi (she/her or they/them), and I’ve been a writer for most of my life, though it’s mostly been fanfiction up until this point. I’ve always wanted to write my own novel, and some iteration of the Speaker characters have been floating around in my head for a long time, but it wasn’t until I discovered interactive fiction that I decided to finally put it on paper.

DEV LOG 24.9.2020

Happy Autumn! 🍂

With Q4 approaching, my primary job is picking back up again, sadly that means less time working on game development. So my dev agenda is getting a bit more sporadic these days.

Biggest news on my end was Procreate 5X getting released! I’m not the most experienced artist nor am I doing official character art for Covenant, but I’ve found working on art helps me get in the right mindset for writing. I haven’t sketched in a while, so the update motivated me to pick it back up, along with inspiration from my talented artist friends. Instead of jumping right into a writing session, I’m sketching for twenty minutes as a warm-up first. Sometimes it’s nice to veg out for a moment, listen to some good music, and just draw to start the day. A huge cup of coffee or hot tea always helps too. ☕

What’s your preferred morning beverage, dear reader? Coffee, tea, juice, water, nothing at all? A little something to think about for a choice in the first chapter…

A little peek at today’s sketch~ Practice makes… well it’s not perfect in the least, but it’s something? 

Speaking of, I’m still at 70% for Chapter One. Er, let’s say 66% if I’m being perfectly honest. 🙈 I’m the only one to blame because I decided to rework some of the beginning scenes. I originally had a particular LI as the first to be introduced to the player, but I switched them out for another. It works out a lot better, but still needs re-writing. So one step forward, two steps back? 😂

Besides doing various dev stuff here and there, not too much else new. I’ll be back soon with some lore posts, as promised. 🙏
