I went to the bee exhibit that’s currently on at the Royal Ontario Museum, and it was mostly fine. just a bunch of blurry projections of flowers onto octagonal grid walls, with plaques telling you“this is how a bee sees” and “you’re having an immersive experience.” lots of attempts to make ‘holograms’ too, with mixed success. but at the end, they did have the bee orb, without any real description or explanation, and you did have to kiss it before you could leave. people were crying
