Lana’s face annoyed him, perhaps more so than usual because of how his heart raced. She didn’t look as if she believed his threat, and whilst she was correct, it still pissed him off. “Well, at least you’re keepin’ your trap shut.” He was skittish, and perhaps not the best of people to be having hold of a gun just then, but he wasn’t about to give it up for nought; especially not to her. There came a crash outside, like a door being slammed open, and he whipped his head around to take a look. “For fuck sake.” He hissed, more to himself, and glanced back at her, clearly debating what to do next. As soon as she stood and spoke, he nodded, hesitating only slightly before running out the door. A guard immediately made eye contact with him, and both pointed their guns at one another. Felix smirked a bit, blue eyes bright as he stared down the barrel of his gun. “Do one.” He said, cocking his chin up just before holding down the trigger. It clicked. Empty. Felix’s face fell as he looked from the man to the gun, brows pulling together as if he had no idea why the weapon wasn’t working. “What–” He was interrupted by the soldier’s amused grunt, and snapped his attention over to him, eyes widening.
Felix didn’t think about what he did next. He threw down the gun and charged straight at the man. Bullets repeatedly flew at him, slicing through his chest and yet hitting the silver beneath. The closer he got to the man, the further the man’s grin fell, until finally Felix slammed into him, gripping the body of his gun and shoving him into the wall. “Give me your fuckin’ gun!” He screamed in the man’s face, the two of them struggling. “Lana!” He called. “Get your fuckin’ twig arse out here!” His knee jerked between the man’s legs, forcing the soldier to wheeze and loosen his grip on the gun enough for Felix to shove it into his throat, hard. Then, naturally, Felix’s forehead collided with his nose, and the guy crumpled to the floor like a sack of potatoes. “Fuckin’ a.” He spat, breathing heavy.
Lana hesitated for a fraction of a second as Felix bolted out of the door, not wanting to immediately follow because of the other person out there. Without her power she was not as formidable as she would have liked to have been, and where there were guns involved it was obviously someone like Felix who was better for the job. If she'd had her power she might have been able to stop someone pulling a trigger, or just outright drained them of blood, given them an aneurysm, anything -- even if she'd been shot somewhere non-fatal it might not have been such a big deal with her power. She was just as good at keeping blood in as she was at squeezing it out. But right then she was more likely to simply die.
Her feet took her to the edge of the doorway, so she could peek out and see what was happening; apparently the gun that Felix had pointed at her was never a threat in the first place, since it was empty. She barely flinched as gunshots rang out, hitting Felix but not slowing him or even seeming to register. At least all that silver is useful for something other than jewellery. Although he called for her to come out she didn't move from her half-hidden position at the doorway until the guard was disarmed and knocked out; Lana was about self-preservation if nothing else. When she was sure it was safer than it had been she fully stepped out of her cell, not looking back as she made her way down the hall -- walking, not running, but her steps were perhaps a little faster than usual. She came to a stop in front of the guard, looking down at him for a second before her eyes flickered over to Felix. "Am I going to be powerless until we get out of here or is it just this thing stopping me?" She gestured to the negation bracelet on her arm.
