Hello I’m Viper (RP BLOGS UNDER THE CUT)

Welcome to my page it’s been a while since I created it but I realized I never did an intro post and I figured better late than never

My name is Viper, I used to go by Chris so if you’ve followed me from the beginning (holy shit I created this blog in February of 2016) you might remember that

I was inactive for a long time, several years, but I just started getting back into writing on Tumblr again back in February 2025, February seems to play a recurring role here, I’m not sure why

I’m a writer and I run several role-play blogs, mainly focused on Marvel characters based in the MCU. I’ll include the links for them under the cut!

I have ADHD and Autism, as well as PTSD, depression, severe anxiety, and other mental health issues that I’m in therapy for but they still affect me on a regular basis. I’m too nervous to reach out to people or to try and make friends, even reaching out to writing partners is difficult because i tend to go offline every month for a few days and the anxiety of coming back gets to me badly.

Are My Chemical Romance Sellouts?

I’ve seen so many people calling MCR sellouts and on one hand I get it. They haven’t said anything explicitly about Palestine and ICE and the state of the country, and the way TicketMaster does ticket pricing. And they can’t control how Ticketmaster dos pricing but theoretically they could use a different service to sell tickets (I’m not a musician and have never sold out arenas so I’m assuming here that there are other sites that would be able to)

But they are anti-war, anti-fascist, and anti-establishment and their body of work itself enforces that. Sure, they aren’t going on stage and saying ‘fuck Ice, Fuck Trump, fuck the KKK’ but they’ve never outright done that. They never said anything about Iraq that I’ve been able to find, outside of stating 9/11 as their origin, and any statements about anything has been made through their music or vaguely. They created an entire stage show that shows where they stand and how they feel about dictators and authoritarian government.

So I don’t know how to feel or what to think about it because I take meaning from their work and I don’t see them living in extravagant ways like other artists tend to after making money from concerts. For as long as I’ve been a fan of theirs I’ve understood them to be very anti-war, anti-hate, anti-anything awful, but they don’t state it outright for the most part in any context.
