addicted is quite possibly the horniest alnst song thus far LMAO luka is so down bad for hyuna its kind of insane. he needs to be put down like a dog. even if im wrong and this isn't a ssn 49 song in particular i do still believe that this song takes place / was made pre-karma, bc luka altogether sounds way too optimistic in the lyrics, it doesn't quite sound like he's mourning hyuna or whatever (this WOULD make all the fire/flame references in the lyrics horribly ironic though considering what happens in karma)
But in essence this song really demonstrates how much of luka's entire existence revolves entirely and exclusively around hyuna. luka's demeanor outside of the stage is passive and doll-like and almost entirely lifeless, he does whatever hepuru wants and endures a lot of torture as part of his training and has like zero autonomy whatsoever. when he's on the stage his entire demeanor changes and he acts like a complete manipulative cunt to all his opponents before they die bc its the only forum through which he can demonstrate control over others since he has no control over his own life or body and he relishes in it.
When in the presence of hyuna though, he does a complete 180 and shows a very childlike innocence, bc shes the only person in his life to whom he has felt safe and cherished around and he prioritizes nothing else. he's addicted to the high she makes him feel, which really is only the feeling of actually being Alive. bc at any point hes not with her he feels and acts dead inside. hence the lyrics that mention organs and parts of his body (like his brain and his veins) wanting him and hyuna to be one and the same.
I also find it interesting that though hes shown to be possessive over hyuna, the lyrics in the song show that he wants to relinquish himself to her (he wants her to be possessive of HIM bc he feels that shes the only one worthy enough for him to Belong To) and theres a lot in the lyrics that reference her being an object of worship to which he prays to. though the religious aspect of it and level of devotion is similar to mizi's feelings towards sua, luka's angle is possessive in that it doesn't account for hyuna's feelings in the slightest. mizisua are devoted to each other, luka is devoted to hyuna but not the other way around, and she even resents the fact that hes so obsessed with and dependant on her.
the lyric saying that he can't be apart from hyuna even for a moment is funny to think about bc hyuna was absent in his life for a period of time after she ran away from alnst and joined the rebellion, but he was able to push through with just the knowledge that she was alive out there. the physical reminder that hyuna is still alive (the wanted posters of her all over the room) that alone was enough for him to be motivated to keep living even though shes physically apart from him and its only when he sees her death with his own eyes that he completely falls apart
