Ok, so I think these two def know each other for a couple reasons hahaha  Ok, so a few years back, I feel like Josh kinda ~thought he was dating Cedes and Cedes kinda thought they were having a fling and like asp the miscommunication became clear hahahaha and Cedes probs freaked right out bc she has commitment issues and yeahhhh things probs ended badly atp but anyway, I’m sure he would’ve made a point of introducing himself to her family, back then, if they didn’t know each other already.  Much more recently, I think he’s started talking to Gigi - I’m gonna talk to Kate about this and figure out more - but anyway, my general point is, I’m sure they know each other hahah  Also, Josh has Lionel and Cyrus as business contacts, too, so there’s that ;DD  I also def think he’d v much like Drea!!  Anyway…did you have any thoughts about them?

haha okay so I feel like drea feels kinda bad for what happened between josh and cedes b/c I think it was probably very clear to drea (and the other davenports tbh) how genuine josh was about cedes and also they probs could guess how serious was about josh (aka not at all) and it was probably clear that it wasn’t gonna end well (although I know drea was honestly rooting for them on the dl b/c it’s pretty clear that josh is a good guy!!!) 

anyway as for him now ++ talking with gigi like omg drea would be so happy to see them together, since he seems like he’s actually making gigi laugh and smile and tbh drea’s been so worried about gigi and when she’s hanging w/ josh she worries less and I feel like drea lowkey ships them haha but at the very least, she hopes they become and stay very good friends b/c I think she can tell that he’s been good for her sister and honestly that’s all drea wants. so yeah, long story short, she’d very much like him, too. <33

Sophia’s friends w Constance, although I’m not sure if that’s ghost!friends or general friendship?  In any case, though, Andrea’s been dating Lionel for a few years, yeah?  So I feel like these two have def met!  I think Sophia would really like Andrea and route for her and Lionel to be happy together and not yknow die by randomly falling down the stairs or something ;DDDD

Ok so…Verena actually despises Aldus (it’s a fun marriage) but she also likes having power over him, so I feel like she’d resent Andrea????  Esp bc she may be the next lady of Lyndhurst and ummmmmm that spot was supposed to be Verena’s how dARE yoU smdh  Honestly, that bit probs bugs her way more than her husband being interested in Andrea hahahaha  And, like, Andrea isn’t her main thing or anything like she’s sort of a background irritant, so she’s not plotting against her but that won’t stop her from being unkind *thumbs up*

okay so, first of all, does drea know that verena/aldus are married/do they pose as a married couple/how is that all working, etc. as far as who she thinks they are??? but either way, I don’t think drea has any earthly idea why verena dislike her (b/c I’m getting the sense that that’s obvious??) b/c she doesn’t know anything about their past/the fact that verena and aldus are actually dead, etc. etc. haha

I feel like, despite their obv differences, there are actually some similarities between the Davenports and the Winstons, in terms of yknow being a large family full of awesome ladies and I can totally see Cass feeling pr comfortable around them, as a result?  Like, I mean all the wealthy-stuff throws off her groove a lil probs but I feel like she’s come to expect that at Lyndhurst, by now?  Anyway, I feel like she’s be a lil awe struck by Andrea bc I mean she’s so???? glamorous????? and still???? a good person????? hahahaha  Cass lowkey like ‘teach me your ways’ ;DDD

I feel like drea would honestly love the winston girls a lot, too??? like they are all so down to earth and happy and part of her wishes that the davenports were more like that (s/o to the gigi/cedes feud!!). I mean things may get a little uncomfortable if/when drea realizes how lionel feels about emily #whoops (but even so that’s not emily’s fault and it certainly isn’t cass’s). bUT i feel like drea would be super welcoming and friendly towards them!!! I mean she’s not the lady of the house, officially, but she will be soon and I think her ~hostess~ is showing and she’d def do everything she could to make sure that they were all comfortable and happy there and I can see her giving cass a tour and showing her the library and telling her what she knows about lyndhurst’s history and basically letting cass geek out ;DD

ELIZABETH HELP AND IM SO SORRY  Ok, so Aldus is honestly 100% problematic so that’s the first thing smdh (what?! me making a problematic character??????? who saw that coming????? ;DDDD)

Honestly, I think Aldus was bad enough the first time around when he was alive but time and inactivity have done him no favors.  It’s warped whatever compassion he has as he’s watched 1,000 years of his wife’s curse take its toll again and again and again on his family.  I feel that his own personal sense of fight has become a deathly resignation that comes out in spurts of temper.  He’s learned, over time, that there’s absolutely nothing he can do and I think the helpless uselessness, as much as anything, torments him.

In any case, Aldus does have a number of hangups revolving around his brother and a life spent striving (and failing) to live up to that ideal, which I think he often sort of projects onto the various Earls and their heirs and so forth????  So on one hand, Aldus wants to make trouble for Lionel and I think his interest in Andrea evolved out of that, since he was trying to get to know her so he could figure out the best way honestly to mess w her???  But the more he spoke to her the more he liked her and yeahhhh  That being said, I do think he’s as kind to her as he is to just about anyone, but like that’s not necessarily saying that much bc Aldus is such???? a problem?????  And he does tend to lash out???  And I just?????

At his core, Aldus is conflicted, and I think that he does want her but he also doesn’t think he’s good for her????  And he wants her to want him but if they were together, he’d feel he tainted her somehow?????  He’d be conflicted even about that, is what I mean hahahah  So he’s at once trying to entice her and drive her away???????  Idk Lizzy hahah

Soooo yeah smdh  Anyway, idk if you had any particular thoughts about these two, but there’s that ;D

okay so wow, I feel like drea is just like ?????????? about aldus. like, first of all, who does she think he is, exactly? I mean, obviously some distant storm relative, but does she think he lives @ lyndhurst or does she think he’s just there a lot/currently a guest??? 

since he’s all over the place w/ how he treats her, I don’t think she knows how he feels about her and honestly, I think she’s unsure about how she feels about him?? not that she’s interested in him in that way at all, but just insofar as if she considers him a friend or an annoyance or an enemy or what haha 

I guess it also depends on what she’s heard from everyone else, too??? like he’s kind to her (or kinder to her haha) but if she’s heard a lot of bad things about him from other people/seen him treat others badly in front of her, that would def make things worse. I mean, I think she ultimately likes to judge people for herself, but in his case, I think she’s probably like “yo what’s up with aldus/what’s his deal??” @ like lionel or whatever b/c he honestly makes zero sense to her and she can’t figure him out at all????

Ok, so Andrea is bffs w Lenora, if I recall, but they’re at least friends, and, in any case, Victor in friends w her two youngest sisters, so I’m sure Victor knows her.  I think he’d like her, and appreciate that she at least gives to charity, but I think he’s still def nonplussed by her choices.  Like…Lionel????  Really????  Hahaha but anyway, how do you think Andrea might react to him?

yes lenora is one of her bffs!!! and actually, in drea’s bio anyway haha, it says that she and victor are actually friends, themselves!!! which I can totally see??? I mean, yeah, I do think that they wouldn’t ~get~ each other 100% of the time, but I do think there’s some respect there anyway??? like I do think that drea has knows the kind of world she’s living in, and she hates the same things about it that ultimately drove victor away, but she also knows its value and she knows that she can do more good in this life than she could if she walked away from it (both for her sisters and for others in general). still, I think she def is really happy for him that he’s been able to make it on his own and that he’s made himself a good life and honestly that’s all she wants for her own sisters

aww so these two are friends!!!! I feel like mark is really good for drea and like he can always get her to loosen up a little and maybe even smile and laugh and take a second to relax!!!! I don’t think she means to be, but she can sometimes be a little too serious??? I mean, I think she def tends to just be more at ease when friends/family show up in general, but I get the feeling that mark is the sort of person who can just make you smile just by showing up and cracking a joke and tbh I feel like she’s happy to have him around lyndhurst for now?? I def feel like there’s a lot of eye rolling @ him sometimes tho haha but don’t let her fool you, she def enjoys his company :)

okay, so since urse is drea’s “unwitting rival” I don’t think drea knew how much urse cared for/still cares for lionel, b/c I don’t think she would have pursued him if she did??? idk how long drea and urse have been friends/if they were friends back when urse and lionel dated, but I get the feeling that drea thought that it was v casual??? she may have checked with urse b/f first going out with him tho, if you think that urse would have seemed like she didn’t care/was okay with it??? thoughts???

omg so I feel like, right below her sisters, her three cousins are the most important people in the world to drea??!!! and like it was such a horrible shock to have lost cece and honestly drea doesn’t know how to handle that, but she knows it’s nothing compared to what evelina and helena must be feeling and she has no idea what she’d do if she ever lost one of her sisters like that??? like her heart literally breaks for helena/evelina and she knows there’s probably nothing she can do to make things any better, but if there ever is, she’s there for them!!!!!

so drea def loves and spoils all of her sisters ... but let’s be honest, dot is the baby and she def spoiled her the most smh. there’s also a seven year age difference, which is definitely a lot when you are kids, and I feel like drea definitely straddled that line of mother/sister more with dot than with the other two, y’know?

I feel like drea def shows up to all of dot’s family weekends @ university and is constantly sending her care packages and offering to take her out to some exotic place for the weekend if she’s super stressed and needs a break haha

hey, so what kind of relationship do you think cedes and drea would have??? 

I can see where they would get on, but I can also see where they would clash??? I feel like drea’s basically been a mother figure to her sisters since they were kids, and idk if cedes would feel like she’s too smothering or whatever ... and like I do think a lot of cedes behavior is worrying to drea like she def worries about cedes a lot???? 

all that being said, if they do argue over these things, I don’t think drea would let it get to the point that gigi/cedes have, where they aren’t even talking about it?? like drea’s sisters are the most important things in her life and she isn’t going to lose them (drea: i’m marrying into the storm family for you) 

but ugh omg the fact that cedes/gigi aren’t speaking is literally so heartbreaking for drea!!! and I def feel like she’s trying to get them to reconcile, somehow, and idk that she’s gonna make things any better (she may just make things worse lol), but she’s def gonna try!!!

Oh, the non- problem children of the Davenport family! :) So these two… I think that Gigi is sort of low key intimidated by Drea in some ways? Like she’s got the whole heiress thing down without being all over the tabloids, plus she’s doing some good in the world, and even marrying into a good family like… Gigi can’t grasp how she’s so good at it all! Which is ridiculous since Gigi has a fairly good grasp on maintaining her own, highly stressful life but whatever, haha

But I assume their relationship is good?! Cedes and Gigi are on the outs right now, so says Kate and I, so I’m sure that affects things with all four of them. Gigi for sure downplayed her injury to Drea to keep from ruining her trip w/ Li (who she approves of, btw, until she/unless she notices he has eyes for someone else then she’s gonna be like “Drea, no. Absolutely not.”) but I’m sure she was SO HAPPY once they were all back in London together, even though Gigi’s being a total recluse and refused to come out much with all of them. Basically, if it weren’t for Constance’s death, she would’ve tried to get out of going to Lyndhurst as well.

But yes, ramble ramble thoughts. What were you thinking?? :))) am I insane? Haha

um but other than all of that, I know that drea is just SO INCREDIBLY PROUD of gigi -- like she’s taken her life and followed her passion and has grown into such a wonderfully kind young woman and all drea wants is for her to be happy and well and -- wait, do you think drea knows the extent of her injury, now? like does she know that there’s a chance that gigi may never dance again???? 

also, I feel like drea would be torn about her being reclusive, b/c she doesn’t think it can be good for her, but on the other hand, she is still recovering and she don’t want to force her to do stuff she doesn’t want to do, either, she just hopes that gigi is doing okay mentally, as well, y’know??

Ok, so there’s a lot to unpack here hahaha  

Ok, so Lionel def cares a lot about Andrea!!  Like, he wouldn’t have asked her to marry him if he didn’t think there was mutual regard and respect upon which to build a relationship, yknow?  To him, it’d be ~nice~ if they were in love, and hopefully some sort of mutual admiration at least will crop up over the years, but I don’t think he’s really met anyone who actually had that except like Tony and Sophia and look how thAT ended ;DDDD  Jk, jk, but my main point is, I don’t think Li considers love to be a necessity and honestly I think he doesn’t believe in true love or whatever and he’s like ‘one person may love another, but the chances that it would ever be mutual or staying are so insignificant as to be near impossible’ so he doesn’t really factor that in????  But he has a duty to have descendants and it would be improper for them to be illegitimate, so he must have a wife #facepalm

That being said, though, he didn’t just pick her bc she was the last woman standing.  He def had v exacting standards and Andrea lived up to all of them.  I think he’s still sort of trying to feel out how she’ll handle ~certain spn revelations~ bc those matters must be handled w care and if he thinks she’ll say anything to an outsider, he’ll cut her loose before she finds out, basically, hahaha but I think just bringing her to Lyndhurst at all shows a certain amount of a trust, already hahaha

But anyway, those’re just some initial thoughts hahah  How do you think she feels about him?

okay so andrea is pretty much on the same page as lionel, in regards to this?? like she doesn’t love him, but she does care about him/respect him/like him and all of that combined with the fact that her parents more than approve, he’s basically everything she’d ever dared to hope for in a husband??? like I think she always knew (even when she was dating ryan who I feel like she may have actually loved once??? that it wouldn’t work b/c her parents would never approve ++ then he went and messed things up -- but even if he hadn’t, I don’t think she would have stayed with him) 

BUT yeah, I think that she’s hoping that they’ll care more for each other as time goes by, but she’s not holding out for that, either #facepalm

all of that being said, I think it would hurt her if she found out that he has feelings for emily??? not that she can blame him, really, and I think she does trust him enough never to act on those feelings but it still isn’t an ideal situation when the guy you are gonna marry is in love w/ someone else. 

as far as drea ++ the supernatural goes ... honestly I’m not sure how she would react to that?? I don’t think she’d ever say a word to anyone else about though, so his secret, at least, is safe. I feel like it might make her want to reconsider this whole thing (probably even more than if she finds out about emily lol), but ultimately, I think she’d decide to stick with him, despite it ... like it would take her awhile to get used to the idea, but I think that she’d eventually come to the realisation that sticking with lionel is probably better than the alternative which is a) trying to come up with a good enough reason for her parents which would only be that b) she’s found an even better match than lionel storm and I think she knows that the odds of that are very unlikely if she’s actually gonna like the guy she’s gonna marry ... I mean idk for sure b/c it might end up just being way too weird for her and she might just have to split but for certain, I do know that she’d never tell anyone about it, so there’s that, at least??

all she wants in life is for her sisters to be happy and healthy and together

so much of what she does in life is motivated by this goal

including marrying lionel storm

it’s not that she doesn’t like and respect and even care for him on some level, but if it wasn’t for her sisters, she’d never actually marry him

she’s always known that she would marry to please her parents

honestly her entire life has been trying to exceed her parents expectations for her in hopes that they will be more lenient with her sisters 

she tried the whole falling in love thing when it came to ryan orson, but it ended badly and all drea has to show for it is a broken heart

this way she can have so much more: the blessing of her parents, for one, and the possibility that her sisters may not be pressured to marry for gain as she was 

she just wants them to have their own lives and do with it whatever they like

this isn’t to say that drea is unhappy with the way her own life has turned out

she doesn’t love lionel, but she both trusts and respects him and believes that they will be happy in their own way and honestly that’s as much as she’s ever dared to hope for when it comes to marriage 

she also used her influence and wealth to help others and she is determined to continue with her work once she’s married
