TEN MILLION YEARS LATER ~~

okay, so yes! I love the idea that the storms/davenports have been associated w/ each other for a long time! And I’m totally down with the Storms having turned towards steel and/or cargo shipping!!!

Anyway, I feel like maybe the storms/davenports have possibly run in the same circles for a long time ++ so maybe the current generation did, in fact, grow up together??? (but I’m not super sold on this haha)

hmmm, as for what the davenport family does … idk for some reason the first thought that came to might was that their father may be the british ambassador to monaco or something????

I can totally see where they might’ve started in steel and branched into shipping hahaha but yeah I feel like they’ve def seen better days hahaha #thanksfamilycurse

I like that idea!  Esp bc I feel like quite a few of them have besties in the form of the Storm/Davenport thing, not to mention the Yorks are also involved and w the Storms ++ related to the Davenports so it all makes sense!  

OMG I love the idea of their dad/mom being the ambassador!!  (Also the fact that that transforms Cedes’ yacht!stealing into an international incident hahahaha I LOVE)

Right, so do we all agree then that the Davenports/Storms/Yorks grew up together?  And what about the various jobs?  Do those sound good to everyone?

Do we have an idea of what the Davenport family does for their dollars? Is it possible the initial connection between the two families may have come through business as well?

Honestly...I don’t really know.  I do know that they’re primarily based in Monaco, but I feel that they have houses elsewhere, as well, and travel whenever they like.  It could be that part of their travel, however, came out of their business, initially?  I’m not sure.  I didn’t really say what they do bc I wanted to 1) leave things open to plotting so ppl could sort of choose 2) suck at occupations for some reason hahaha so I never formally made any decisions for the really rich ppl hahaha

Speaking of which, I’m not sure what the Storms do, either, outside letting their land to farmers/whatever incomes the title may bring in, etc, tbqh.  Since the huge agricultural downturn in England that ruined lots of ppl in similar positions after the industrial revolution, I feel certain they’ve turned to ~something~ else in addition but I never formally decided what it might be tbqh hahaha  Um, if anyone has ideas/suggestions I’d love to hear them bc I suck at coming up with occupations tbqh hahaha  

That being said, it’s 100% open as a result, so that absolutely could have brought them together!

I honestly feel like Cedes is in a certain amount of denial about what happened to Constance????  Like, she’s her cousin, she’s her best friend, and Cedes just can’t make herself believe that she could really be gone, yknow?????  And I honestly feel like she’s not dealing super well w it and just ughh it’s all so sad, Lauren!!!!!!

COUSIN!!!!!!  Ok, so I feel like Mercedes is the Scandal of Christendom their family so idk how Helena might feel about her/what kind of relationship they may have, given their different focuses in life???  Bc I can see where Helena might sort of be a calming influence on Cedes but I can equally see where Cedes might react poorly if Helena’s telling her off/trying to get her to do something so yeah I’m not really sure????  Any thoughts about it on your end?

I feel like Cedes def doesn’t know what to make of the Winstons???  Like, I feel like if they’re up for a good time, she’s always up for it, but for the most part I feel like they really confuse her????  Like they just say and do things it would literally never???? occur to her to do????  Like, one time, Cass ripped her shirt and she was like ‘oh man now i’m gonna have to mend this’ and cedes was just like ??????? ‘damn buy a new shirt wtf???????’ and things like that ;DDDD

So Ezra dated Cedes’ sister, Gigi, before Gigi left, right?  In which case, Cedes probs knew him ~back then~  That being said, though, Cedes and Gigi never got along!!!  But honestly Ezra’s probs more Cedes’ speed than Gigi hahaha  Anyyyywayyyy, idk how much they do or do not interact, but there’s that hahaha

So I’m tempted to say the Davenports would have their own lawyer, but if s/he for whatever reason wasn’t available, might Tony have represented Cedes in the ill-fated yachting accident???  If so, she def says things like ‘thanks for not letting them behead me’ a lot bc she loves to tease smdh  If not, I’m not sure if they’ve met before now?  Though they may have, given that he also comes from a ~prestigious~ family????  Hahahah I feel like there’re lots of other possibilities but it’s 1am and my brain’s offline BUT IM ONLY GOING TO BED AFTER I GET THROUGH INTROING CEDES TO EVERYONE MUAHAHAHAHAHAH
