"you look tired" thanks I am
growing up with an angry father is terrifying but growing up a daughter with an angry mother is gut wrenching because you get it, you understand that she’s been worn down by the world and being treated as less and she’s been carrying the rage and traumas of her mother and her mother before her and her mother before her and when you see her you recognise that same rage in you
but her rage is not pointed at the world, it’s pointed at you because you’re 14 and not used to the harshness of it yet but she will make sure you get there and you don’t know what to do but cry and she hates seeing your tears because they make her nauseous
growing up with an angry mother feels like being ripped apart because you know she loves you, she’s your worst enemy, she makes you feel safe, she terrifies you, she’s your best friend, she’s the reason you can’t let people get close, you love her, you never cried over a boy or a girl as much as you cried over her words, she made you, you’re her puppet, you’re desperate to leave, you’ll never escape her blood or her judging gaze and even when you leave you can hear her voice in your head and it will haunt you until you’re dead
you understand her rage but you see it in yourself and that scares you more than anything else
anybody out there hiring gay losers. ideally a 100k/year salary and i work for one hour every day when i feel like it. thanks
I still haven't watched Severance but congratulations to the fandom for getting a Blorbo who did end up crying, soaking wet in a suit and tie, and covered in blood at the end of the show. This is like getting a superbowl ring but for fandom I think.
Imagine scarfing down chinese food like a rabid animal only for jeff bezos to come and sit next to you and insult your dead wife, so you go home and get a lobotomy about it
severance is so scary i hope jobs arent real
reading smut in public without showing an ounce of emotion like the lady that I am

watched little women today and i cant stop thinking abt it like that movie was so perfect i cant. and i keep trying to find videos and tiktoks on it but theres barely any bc im 5 years late and the ones that do exist just piss me off bc they dont get the movie. like no jo and laurie arent meant to get together bc she literally does not love him in that way. she never did and she was only gonna confess because she wanted to be loved. and no im not a fan of laurie and amy but thats just bc amy is jo's sister and thats just a crazy thing to do as a man but they go well together so im looking past it but. but like. bro. jo and laurie are not in love and jo was right when she rejected his proposal and was saying how they wouldnt work bc yeah. thats all true. they arent meant to be married or have any romantix connection. theyre twin flames they are platonic soulmates and i need people to understand that! sorry i just had to get that out
also i loved so much how greta included the part where the publisher makes jo add in the part with her/the main charcter in her novel bc it shows why jo had to get married in the book bc of publishers doing the same thing to louisa may alcott
