my background: I did some of an arts degree before switching and completing a stem undergraduate degree. I'm now well clear of uni and I'm working full time but still want to continue learning 💜

finished pride and prejudice! I think I've read it before, but it would have been a long time ago.

(1996 adaptation girl for life!)

this version had some footnotes to explain some references and social behaviours that no longer occur in the 21st century, but the language itself is still very readable.

I got this copy from my local little free library and I think I'll put it back into circulation - it's a bit battered and a couple of pages in the introduction are nearly falling out. I would like to get a quality hard cover copy eventually (maybe one with a peacock cover).

going to work through the tex's french grammar course because one thing I don't like about duolingo is the lack of formal explanations of grammar rules.

ended up deleting my 100 days of productivity posts because it turns out that when I'm actually being productive and my life is full then I don't have the time to write detailed posts on tumblr.

I'm still productive and enjoying learning for learning's sake, but the daily posts were sparking dread not joy.

I'm enjoying keeping a record of my podcast episodes although I'm always shocked at how many I've listened to!

pen is a 1.0mm uniball jetstream which is not quite perfect for me - I find I hold it too low, on the metal instead of the rubber grip, and it glides across the paper a little too well. I like to dig my pen into the page 🙊
