Why aren’t you pursuing the person you like?

Simply because this person doesn’t exist for me yet, I don’t think there’s anyone who has interest in me romantically. It’s alright, though, it’s not a desired need for me right now.

“Is there another zone you’d like instead?” he chuckled jokingly, shaking his head lightly. “Oh, I imagine that I don’t want to be around when you’re deeply hungry, so we better hurry along, huh?” he laughed again, “It’s nearby, though, don’t worry.”

{ ☼ } ー HE THOUGHT HE’D NEVER GET HIS POINT ACROSS with the other throwing such comments on how ‘cute’ he was – Zelo finding it rather ridiculous and at the least, a joke. However, it was Minjae’s smile that melted away the younger’s tantrum and he was soon taking the elder’s words into consideration – a first for the stubborn male.

              Acceptance, hm? Zelo hummed in thought, breaking away from the other’s comforting actions and proceeded their short jounrey to the nearby restaurant they both eating at. Well, at least Zelo enjoyed it so much that he considered it his second home – probably due to the fact he could not cook to save his life and instead relied on the local restaurants to survive.

               But after a long pause of silence from Zelo – one of deep thought and reflection – he began speaking again upon entering the restaurant just after a small sigh.”You say that I’m a good guy, but I think it’s really you.” He gave a firm nod, his brows knitting together in such a serious expression it was almost comical. “Well, consider me as a new student, because you’re my new teacher in life. Y’know that little green mentor dude from that movie? What’s his name… Yoda? Yeah– well- you’re him and my new life mentor. Alright?” He asked, as if giving Minjae a choice, which he didn’t, and he was already grinning at his own idea, his head nodding eagerly now in the hope the other was just as excited as he was.

          Minjae followed along with the other as they continued on their way to the restaurant they were to eat at. They hadn’t really done much today, and yet, Minho felt like he needed just that much energy to proceed; being the glutton that he was, he really needed to eat all that he could to feel satisfied throughout the day.            “Yoda, huh?” he laughed before giving a curt nod, “I’ll accept that, if you’ll be Luke,” he snorted. Maybe Minjae did have a weird taste for what he found ‘cute’, but he really did admire how the other looked at things. It did remind him of his own kids at school, but in a less innocent sense, and more in a youthful one. Zelo was someone Minjae just wanted to take care of and look after, like a hyung figure. Minjae led the other inside, opening the door for him with a smile. “Come along, young grasshopper, we’ll talk more about it over some food,” he chuckled.
