ok I'll try to make it quick: nothing special🍭 #peppermintos claims to be the perfect lightweight distro.. I won't say it's not, it is, it's snappy and it has a UI that will run smooth on most hardware. I like it. But I found it to be a very tiny bit smoother than mint or xubuntu on my netbook.. Barely noticeable. Less barely noticeable was the fact that elementary os Luna runs smoother. I guess window animations and graphic effects do most of the job, but it's a very less frustrating user experience (still talking about crappy hardware) So, I like it, I'd probably keep it if I didn't know of elementary. I'll keep it until freya beta :)
