small introductory post :3

HIII i’m m3tall1c (he/him), i’m pretty new to tumblr so bear with me as i slowly figure this site out

this’ll be a sonic art blog! sometimes i’ll post my own art, ive been drawing for ages but only recently got into drawing sonic characters

a few of my favorite characters are sonic, shadow, metal sonic, infinite, blaze, surge, silver & knuckles

i’ve got a small handful of sonic ocs that you might see around too

being consumed by the phantom ruby isn’t a lot of fun apparently

some more Infinite AU yap under the break :3 (pretty long so beware lol)

in this drawing Infinite’s phantom ruby prototype is basically disintegrating as its consumed by the actual ruby. after the original phantom ruby consumes the prototype it sorta spits Infinite out some time into the future, i haven’t decided on a definitive time period yet but im currently thinking right before frontiers happens

in this au his mask broke during the final battle in forces, the main idea of that being that he’s not able to hide behind it anymore. only this side of his face is exposed, the rest of the mask is still unscathed

after Infinite returns from being ‘consumed’ he’s been weakened (not that he’d like to admit), the prototype’s abrupt removal having messed up the natural balance of (chaos) energy in his body

that imbalance results in something that could be described as a (constant) energy deficit, unless he has an external power source (like a chaos emerald for example) to grant him energy. he’s not coping well with it all and seeks out Eggman in hopes of regaining the power he’s lost (currently working on another drawing where that’s the main focus insert evil grin emoji)

messy sketch of my au ‘version’ of infinite that i’ll probably never finish

some rambles beneath the break :)

the main thing of this au is that he’s lost his phantom ruby prototype after the events of forces (being ‘consumed’ by the phantom ruby, which then consumed his prototype and rid itself of him). through trial and error he learns to find power elsewhere instead of gaining it from the magic rock of the week. maybe one day i’ll make a bigger post about this au but for now this is all 🤞
