Dead people receive more flowers than the living ones because the regret is stronger than gratitude.

#throwbackthursday love the family. Especially my wonderful sister Bailey. Sometimes she reenacts this picture. 😋❤️#tbt #family
This made my day yesterday. As we were doing a health expo, i noticed a little girl wearing shoes that looked an awful lot like the toms we wear in America. Then it hit me. She was wearing a pair of toms that were a result of TOMS wearers in America (TOMS motto is one for one and every time someone buys a pair, a pair is given to a child in need). It was really cool to see the results of our small actions.
Jamaica update
Ever since our plane touched down In Jamaica, we have been very busying spreading God's love. Whether it was passing out GLOWs our pamphlets for our program or just becoming friends with the people we meet, our goal has been spreading the Good News of Christ's soon return. We spent the day yesterday in visiting the headquarters of the central Jamaica SDA conference as well as visiting the sites of our evening meetings today. We wanted to be well prepared for our programs as well as the health expos we will be doing throughout this coming week. Today was the first day that we did a health expo in Jamaica. We were very excited and nervous about the health expos, but we prayed that God would provide us with the information we would need to sufficiently show God's love to the people of Jamaica. Today went well and everything ran very smoothly. I clearly saw God helping us throughout today. Although Jamaicans speak English, as a result of their accents it can sometimes be very difficult to understand them. But by the grace of God we were able to clearly communicate with them. We praise the Lord for His help that He gives us when we only but ask. One of the highlights of the health expo today was seeing and interacting with the children here. There were so happy and so content with even the smallest of things. They were such a joy to be around and they reminded me of how we should be as Christians. Wherever we are as Christians, or whatever situation we are in, we should be joyous and happy. This trip has been an adventure for us all so far. Whether it be trying new foods, meeting new people, experiencing humid-tropical weather for the first time, or even finding all types of critters and creatures, we praise God for the experiences He has given us. Please keep us in your prayers as we continue serving God as we reach out to the people of Jamaica.
Prepping for evening meetings that start tomorrow. Visiting the sites #missionjamaica2014

Of course, you never really forget anyone, but you certainly release them. You stop allowing their history to have any meaning for you today. You let them change their haircut, let them move, let them fall in love again. And when you see this person you have let go, you realize that there is no reason to be sad. The person you knew exists somewhere, but you are separated by too much time to reach them again.

That is the fear: I have lost something important, and I cannot find it, and I need it.
