Sorry if this is actually insanely old and I'm just now seeing it. I randomly had an urge to log in and was just so touched when I saw these that I didn't know what to do/how to acknowledge either of you in a way that felt right and natural. I'm not here likeI used to be; so many of the friends that I made in the fandom have gone on and grown, I pray for the better, and while my heart yearns for the hype, anticipation, and connection of camaraderie we shared in what was a happy, healthy group, I must also accept that I may never hear from most of those people again. But if you're all okay, that's the best I can ever hope for. Thank you both for reaching out to me in that unexpected way🙏❤️ I'm probably coming out very emotional (and I am), but I mean every word. This is the cat with the eerie stare that makes you wonder if she's peering into your very soul.

You will never know this brown, four-legged cloud is in the room because, save for a few, affectionate purrs or an occasional mew in passing, she isn't the most vocal companion, so expect more than a few jumpscares when turning around after cleaning or cooking to find her seated silently from a safe distance - never close enough to be caught in the crossfire of human panic and chaos. To date, her fur hasn't been ruined with an accidental food spill yet.

But, rest assured, this isn't out of malice. To put it simply, if you are her owner, she is your guardian.

If you had a rodent problem before, you will notice they started going missing right around the time you took her in. Since you never catch her in the act no matter how late you stay up and no evidence their remains have been found, there is a running joke among your friends that she patrols the house when you're sleeping and consumes both body and soul of every mouse she detects.

Speaking of them, when company comes, the same vigilant nature applies, but after a trial period of studying your friends and family, she will accept a scritch or two seemingly out of obligation, but only to the chin and sides of her face. Any touches to her ears are immediately met with an apprehensive stare and a polite step back or startled duck before scurrying out of reach. She won't allow anyone to pet her ears or pick her up but you.

Alternatively, though, she seems to pick up on sadness or pain, and will cozy up to you and your friends/family out of the blue almost as though to instill comfort.

I hate doing this. But I need help.

Recently -rather JUST NOW- My digital pen broke. It literally won't work anymore. And the brand I use (Genius) doesn't make this model anymore since it's pretty old. Even if they did, they won't sell only the pen. So I need a whole new one, but they are very expensive here (thanks economy). So, I'm screwed.

Well, worst part is that art also happens to be my income tool. So I really need my tablet. I'm really, REALLY desperate now, because not only I have things to work on, but also I have a lot of my survival relying on what I can make. Even if I don't usually make much, it's better than nothing at all. My family can help a little, yes, but they're not in the best of economic moments to afford a whole new device for me.

I won't get emotional or guilt trip you all. I'll get to the point.
