the only thing that helps me battle paranoia is studying a couple of most probable scenarios. for example: before a flight (or during the flight) I’ll always watch a documentary about a plane crash.

better feeding the imagination before the imagination eats my brain. that’s my point

BUT if I watch a doc on that then I’ll mostly only #worry about those few scenarios #quando andai in america 12 anni fa chiesi a mio padre di trovarmene uno sul 9/11 #giuro che aiuta un sacco #poi avevo anche iniziato a farlo da piccola perchè ero (più o meno lo sono ancora) convinta di poter così prevenire un disastro aereo 😭#mi sono studiata anche il linguaggio del corpo anche perche volevo poter leggere la gente con atteggiamenti sospetti sugli aerei.#magari riuscirei ad individuare un dirottatore. se non dormo #mi rassicura ok. non deve avere senso #nelle ultime due settimane sono andata giù per un rabbit hole su MH370. lowkey all i can think about #la mia teoria: gli americani sanno ma non parlano. IDC. o almeno: qualcuno sa e non parla.#fra tipo 20 anni avremo risposte #i know that #stessa cosa con i documentari sulla ww2. tutti gli ho visti (soprattuto elemenari) perché avevo una paura dell’ascesa di un nuovo regime #perché a scuola ogni anno pure qua c’è la giornata della memoria e da lì mi sono un po’ partite le paranoie #ce il concetto è che se conosco un po’ fa meno paura. detto così non è nemmeno senza senso #my blog stuff

the whole discussion about screenless health wrist bands is ironic to me, because they’re trying to sell something that was the norm 12 years ago, but for four times the price

#like. the first health bands were ALL screenless and then we moved to a screen FOR A REASON #also woohp admiring that they hearth beat data has been wrong for years…a wrist band (which is also SCREENLESS) that you pay 300€ A YEAR #a ROBBERY #none of them will ever have me #and now they have really came up with a version of the band w/o subscription but it has way left functions + they did it bc they were scared #of fitbit but whoop is still at least 200€#like I get having a lowkey band for everyday use. but if you buy a watch you can also just wear it for your workout #you don’t need it 24h on. it’s enough just for sleeping and working out out #and if you really want one. the only real ones are Fitbit. 99€ which was always the same price for their screenless bands #I know because I had it👍👍#I know that also garmin did their version #but again. unless you never run/hike and don’t need to see any statistics/pace/map I guess it could be useful #but for 300€ buy the coros apex and buonanotte #like now they really try to pitch the product as “not distracting band”. who the hell is distracted by a watch. also you can turn all the #notifications off. even if it’s one of the most useful things. since I can always have the phone on silent with the watch #little ramble I had in me for a long time now #WHOOP I MEAN WHOOP I CANT WRITE OK #running
