The backstory for the horse is that he injures anyone who tries to ride him
I love him. The murder just shines out of his beautiful face

Physically pains me to work on bigger pieces because my nut sized brain hates stuff that takes longer than a day (but I think miss dead merm over here will be worth it)
The idea of decomposing is so strangely comfortingâŚ. Despite what sort of life Iâll lead, this borrowed flesh will find its way into the earth again soon enough.

israel's invasion of jenin is so aggressive and inhumane that it speaks volumes how underreported it is in mainstream media. blocking aid from the refugee camps (classic starvation tactic), displacing at least 20 families in the last 24 hours alone, and now setting fire to jenin's market. they are razing streets with bulldozers. people are left without electricity, food, or water. and now they're targeting ambulances and medical staff without even trying to pretend it's erroneous or they're just terrorists. this is what complete impunity looks like
i truly don't understand how anyone can look at any of this and go "well it's been a year of this, so not my problem anymore!!" like it is your problem. it's everybody's problem. if you are choosing to care less during the time where everything is literally 10000x worse than it ever was, then you never cared. that's the truth
#and all the media can focus on is the fucking hostages that israel themselves killed with their bombs and abject refusal to end the genocide #that and the strike action taken by the colonisers in protest at their âcountrymenâsâ deaths #not the deaths of thousands in gaza nor the grinding of the war machine #to them and the western media one israeliâs life is worth a thousand times more than a million palestinians #truly an irredeemable nation of hitlerite genocidal colonisers whose every word is hung on by pathetic genocidal bourgeois press
there is no end to our struggle.

Lol itâs all âwe should center the voices of the victims of Imperial coreâ till people here realize that this has to be a sustained effort that would need the same energy from beginning to end, no matter how many days, months or years go by. Really crazy that just when so many Gazans are on the site trying to reach out to us, Palestine seems to be falling out of relevance because the coverage of protests in the imperial core has begun to die down
I laugh but it is terrifying how American hegemony works that we can track it in real time through the dwindling of donations to gfms across the platform. Gazan families want to talk to us about all that they have lost, at great costs to themselves so that they can get some much needed help, and what they find instead, is an allyship that is easily influenced by a hegemony where western voices speaking up about any of this matter the most, and when that dies down, they struggle to find a sympathetic ear, resulting in the support being whittled away to almost nothing right in front of their eyes.Â
You are really only proving that zionists were right when they said that people would eventually forget and stop caring. It is going to be 11 months of GENOCIDE- how does it not galvanize us to speaking up MORE? I don't know how you all are not realizing that should a time come when we truly stop talking about Palestine, we would stand complicit in normalizing these crimes against humanity!
So please don't stop talking!! Don't let Palestine fall out of relevance, the second western media stops talking about it in the mainstream. And please, please boost and donate to the fundraisers.Â
My friend, Siraj ( @siraj2024 ) is struggling to get steady donations for the past 2 months. Recently with his extended family getting displaced due to the violence of the IOF, his fundraiser is now having to support FIVE FAMILIES belonging to his married siblings and parents instead of just the one. I cannot overstate how urgently he needs these funds right now.
He needs to get to 65k by Monday, but is currently only at $61,524 CAD
He managed to get $248 CAD in 12 hours and this is terrifying to him!!Â
Please keep sharing and donating. Siraj and every other Gazan need your support now more than ever.
since i have a dog, i walk the circumference of the apartment complex i live at every single day, so im seen frequently by many of my neighbors. i have a friendly relationship with most if not all of them, though there is the unignorable matter of me looking like a girl half the time, and looking like a boy half the time.
there are of course those who will see me and either smile politely and ignore me, or just keep walking eager not to engage, and there are those who choose "hey dude" or "hey man" whenever we pass each other in a genuinely friendly way, which i dont pay any mind and say "hey, how ya doin!" in response because why chance creating needless conflict with someone i see every day?
but the most friendly, accepting, and outwardly supportive demographics BY FAR are high school students and women over 40. i have had my outfits, regardless of gender, complimented by many teenagers (one kid called my halo "gangster" and ive been riding that high for a few weeks), and on my daily rounds im stopped most often by a handful of different post-middle-aged women who like to talk to me about horses, or my dog, or the weather, or just about our days, and it's always very pleasant.
i have not told a single neighbor in the months ive been living here "im a trans woman" or anything remotely related to my gender, and yet the three grandmas i speak to often are always quick to offer a "hello my dear" or "good afternoon sweetheart", and they always smile at me the same way-- regardless of whether my face is covered in makeup or beard hair.
for that, i am grateful.

ive been following a young man from gaza (medo halimy) on instagram since the beginning of the war. he made amazing videos despite being consistently displaced, throughout all the turmoil and throughout the loss of his family members... for a while now he's been vlogging about planting different herbs in his tent near the sea where he was displaced and trying to cook with them, and he uploaded a new video yesterday to show us how his plants were getting along. after that he was killed by an airstrike at the beach where he was sitting with his friend. now i can't stop thinking about all those plants he grew during a genocide for his family to eat. the plants are still alive but he isn't.
the gofundme for him and his family is here.
