there's a certain character archetype i've been fascinated by for some time now, which for the sake of this post i will call "The Vriska". features of the vriska include:

overconfidence

social manipulation

being a massive loser

lesbianism

deadly competence

a penchant for risk-taking

a sort of empty, laid-back facade, with intense distress when it's pushed through

disregard for the well-being of others, which may or may not be a facade itself

transfemininity, if not coded as such

being That Bitch

slight stupidity

intense spitefulness, bordering on pettiness

general melodrama

may or may not be the protagonist herself, but easily has the charisma for it

a narrative foil with intense moral convictions, which may include some sort of psychosexual lesbian obsession

i've found at least four (probably five) seperate examples and they've all absolutely captivated me. incredible type of girl
