hello everyone! this looks so bad on my part but i do apologize for this long absence. however, i’ve returned and i’m ready to start posting all the work i’ve done during this tumblr inactivity

i also wanted to point out that i have a youtube channel where i upload my work as well, and not just 3D modeling, but another kind of project; as we all know i am code lyoko’s #1 fan (if anyone wants to challenge me with lyoko knowledge, then so be it) but im also obsessed with the 2015 film “chappie” and i’ve fused the two masterpieces together, code lyoko episodes but with the “chappie” soundtrack (and all sound effects from the show are intact) if you’d like to check it out, visit youtube.com/user/mattster51 ; thank you all!

Hello everyone! Please excuse my disappearance but I have returned to continue showcasing my work. Today, I’ve decided to mix my expertise in Sketchup with my knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and mix the two to create illustrations such as the one shown above.  If you’ve watched Code Lyoko, then you’ve surely seen a scene like the one I drew. Jeremie himself was drawn in Illustrator while the Lab was modeled in Sketchup. I’ll be doing lots more of these, and hopefully in due time, they’ll actually move like a cartoon.

in this update, NavSkids have been redesigned  and the color scheme has been touched up to a more grayish blue color

This is an unfinished model of the Ice Sector, featured in Code Lyoko. Also referred to as the Polar Region, its name implies that the entire sector is made up of ice. (The first picture is a screenshot of the original sector.) It features vast connected tunnels that lead from one plateau to another. All surfaces are wide open spaces with only narrow paths used to travel. The Digital Sea and sky are an indigo color while the the surface sectors are completely blue.

Unfortunately, the Ice Sector (along with the Forest Sector) are deleted in Code Lyoko: Evolution, believed to be the result of data degradation, due to the Supercomputer’s year-long shutdown.

This is a near-completed design of the ultimate audiovisual entertainment synthesizing holographic computer named Synergy shown in the 1980s show, Jem & The Holograms. This computer, created by the main character’s (Jerrica Benton) father, is bestowed onto her after his death. Synergy is capable of creating completely realistic holograms of anything, with the ability to project sound, along with image, on her holograms. Her main purpose is to generate the Jem hologram, which is overlayed on Jerrica’s person, along with customizing her band members’ appearances, as well, through the use of the JemStar earrings, which are actually remote microprojectors that give Synergy the ability to create holograms from any location.

This is a model of the Smart House Control Room, seen numerous times in the Disney Channel Original Movie, Smart House. This is where all the House’s functions are handled, and where the artificially intelligent “housemaid”, named PAT (Personal Applied Technology) is housed. This control room also has the capability of generating a three dimensional hologram, which was only used to create a virtual enbodiment of PAT herself.

This is a near-completed visual representation of the all-new Skid Elevator, first debuting in season 4 of Code Lyoko. The main purpose of this new area in Sector 5 is to bring someone up to the Skid Hangar, where the virtual submersible ship, the Skidbladnir, is housed in.

This is a complete rendering of the United Kingdom set of the show from where it all began, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?

It’s been almost a year since I first started working on this model, and at its completed stage, it is a job well done. Complete with lights, Hot Seats, and just about every structural element seen to the naked eye on the show.

This is the famous Mach 6 used in Speed Racer: The Next Generation. In the series, this successor of the Mach 5 is the most advanced, most sophisticated race car of its time. Every aspect of the car has been improved from the original design (metal saws now became laser saws, with more precision; an all-new com system for communication between cars and devices capable of telecommunication; “inflato-tires”, which expand in size when submerged in water or mud for easy escape, etc.) The most amazing feature is the gasless engine the Mach 6 is designed to run on, but still able to run on gasoline whenever it is required. 

In the first rendering, it is the first completed version of the Mach 6 I worked on for a few months, but the second rendering is of a second, more improved, version that is yet to be completed.

This is the original Interface seen throughout all seasons of Code Lyoko. This model of the interface displays the show’s original operating system, which is executing the devirtualization program. In the series, the left monitor displayed statistics for the supercomputer, such as power consumption and remaining energy after certain actions were performed. The right monitor displayed location based information, such as the location of a cell phone. Every time this monitor was shown in the series, it always displayed a map of the nuclear power plant, suggesting they might have (limited) access to its systems. The use of the top monitor is unknown.

3D model of the redesigned supercomputer interface featured in Code Lyoko Evolution. Every part of the interface has been drastically modified from the original, from the operating system to the hardware. The only thing that hasn’t changed is the position of the peripherals (keyboard, monitors, etc.) The monitors display the supercomputer’s new operating system’s main screen.

Unfinished model of the Forest Sector. Also known as the supposed third sector, as its name implies, it is a virtual environment representing a forest, complete with logs and trees.

Recreation of the Factory from Code Lyoko Evolution. I know it’s obviously not an exact match but it looks realistic (at least from my point of view).

this model depicts the towers shown in a sequel to “code lyoko” called “code lyoko evolution”, the towers in evolution went through a drastic change and their exterior has completely been redesigned from the old towers in the prequel, yet the inside all still look and function the same

this model depicts a school named “racing academy” and a track used for student racing evaluations in the tv show “speed racer: the next generation”; as you read that name, some of you may encounter nostalgia from the original speed racer series that debuted in the 1960s. this series follows speed racer’s son as he overcomes challenges that come with learning how to become a professional racer, just like his long lost father. what separates this track from any other ordinary track is that it possesses the latest in race training technology, the “virtual track”, where students, with their cars, enter a simulated environment, it can be surreal and it may not be, but it’s designed to really put their skills to the test in places outside the real track, and the drivers are kept safe: if they crash, they are ejected out of the virtual track and into the real world;
