THE FUTURE OF KODI

Out of respect for the developers who have asked YouTubers and bloggers not to speak on the situation until the heat dies down, I have been silent. Furthermore, I haven't wanted to say anything until I had appropriate information that would not be misleading to you. THE IOS JAILBREAK FOR 10.1-10.1.1 IS HERE!

The IOS 10.1-10.1.1 Jailbreak is here! What you should know before attempting the jailbreak:

This is a BETA of a full Jailbreak, so this version of the jailbreak could possibly be very buggy as it is technically still being developed. This particular version of the jailbreak is really meant for developers as this version of the jailbreak allows them to begin to make and update tweaks and hacks for your favorite applications. Though the jailbreak does Include Cydia, Cydia substrate has been disabled by Saurik (most likely so that developers can work on applications and also to discourage the general public from using the jailbreak for the time being). This inability to utilize Cydia substrate is the reason that many tweaks or applications will NOT work at this time. d- First time jailbreakers and those who do not have a full understanding of how jailbreaks work with the structure of their devices are being encouraged to STAY AWAY. Another thing to note is that this jailbreak is semi-tethered. This means that when the phone either dies or shuts down, you will have to re-run the jailbreak. This is something similar to the Pangu Team’s jailbreak we saw in 9.3.2 and above. DEVICES SUPPORTED are as follows: iPhone 7,7+,6s,6s+, iPad running 10.1-10.1.1     It seems that finding an untethered jailbreak is getting more difficult with each apple firmware release. It has been speculated for quite some time, that at some point jailbreaking will become obsolete either because it is not as easy as it once was to find exploits, or because it is becoming less lucrative. Also, due to the overwhelming success of jailbreaking, Apple has finally realized that what their consumers want is customization and they have been attempting to give that to their users.

Lately Apple has been seeing more customization apps appearing in the App Store. Customizations such as themes, ringtones, and various widgets have made their way into the App Store giving users many of the abilities that jailbreakers have had for many years. Unfortunately however, Apple is still way behind the jailbreaking community in relation to apps, tweaks, and customization ability. What do you think about the fact that we are seeing fewer and fewer jailbreaks? Do you think that jailbreaking is even necessary with the customizations and features Apple is coming out with in their new devices? The techie's Christmas List

I’m not somebody who generally asks for a lot on Christmas. If there something particular that I want, I might drop a hint or two, but really for me Christmas is more about giving to those that I care about. However, all that I have just said in the previous sentences seems to go by the wayside with this year’s Christmas list. There are so many awesome tech toys coming out or that have come out over the past year and for some reason I WANT THEM ALL!

Smart watches, cameras, Bluetooth this-and-that, and what is this new Amazon Echo Dot?! I don’t care, I want it! For me, this Christmas is all about tech but it isn’t limited to the gifts that I would like to receive, I am also giving a lot of technology as well. Fire sticks, portable devices, anything to make life easier on those I care about… Family who might let me borrow said devices every once in a while. Or even better yet who might let me route, jailbreak, and install programs for them. Nope, I don’t mind being the tech-support in my family.

For me, technology is not about sharing my each and every move or social whim, for me technology is more about appreciating the advances that we have made as a species and how these technologies shape our lives. It’s about seeing what innovations we have created and dreaming of what will be in just two years time. These companies, these devices, they shape how we interact with one another and they change our behavior toward sharing personal stories and events and toward how we see social interaction and how we live our lives.

Though I sometimes long for simpler days when we would sit in chat rooms instant messaging each other over AIM or Yahoo messenger, and though I miss the sound of the dial-up modem (not the speeds however), I can’t help but stay curious as to what inventions will happen next and how they will shape our society.

This Christmas I believe is more about technology because there have been so many devices released over the past year that one can hardly escape (if one is tech savvy) the longing to try out and review them all. So what did I ask for this Christmas?

1. A series 1 42 mm Apple Watch (this one is probably a pipe dream, but still, can’t blame me for trying.) 2. And OtterBox for my still brand-new looking iPhone 6s Plus 3. An Amazon Echo Dot (they look really cool and I can’t wait to review it for my tech channel). 4. A gaming headset, but mostly for doing YouTube videos and commentary. 5. Bluetooth keyboard 6. Bluetooth headset 7. And provided I get the echo, a Bluetooth speaker for better sound quality.

Now don’t get me wrong, there are a few great things that did not make this list, but these here are things that I want that I probably couldn’t rationalize buying for myself. So what’s on your Christmas list? Any awesome technological inventions that I totally forgot about and will regret not asking for later? Please leave your Christmas list in the comment section. And no matter what your present giving holiday, enjoy it and always keep in mind that it is much better to give than to receive.

As somebody who has lived on a tight budget for many years, I know how hard it is to feel like something as simple as TV is out of your budget range. Cable company is either want long-standing contracts which if you're like me, you don't want to get into a contract in case you decide to move. If you choose to go with the Cable company that does not make you adhere to a contract, you are most likely sacrificing something in return, whether it be quality of service, or having to pay in the scene amount of money at installation or per month on your bill. For the past 3 1/2 years, I have lived without a major cable company in my home and you know what? I don't miss it at all. I'm introducing a new series on my YouTube channel in which I show you where to find free, stable, live TV and how to enjoy it either on your computer, Kodi, or your portable device. As somebody could on depends on free services for their live TV streams, I know how important it is to find a service that is stable and doesn't constantly go off-lineOr get hit by FCC compliances. IT’S TIME TO MAKE AN EXODUS FROM NETFLIX WITH KODI

Ever since its inception in 1998, Netflix has allowed it's users the ability to play TV shows in succession, as well as introduce them to movies from the past and newly released films. Netflix also has  shed some light on films that otherwise never would have been heard of without the service. Now, Kodi is the buzz of the streaming scene. Kodi allows its users to search a vast array of movies and TV shows from various different countries through the use of various add-ons in most cases for FREE. The one drawback of Kodi has always been the fact that it does not allow you to play TV shows in succession as Netflix does... That is until now.

In the this video, I will finally be able to show you how to use Kodi in the way that you would use Netflix and finally allow you to drop your Netflix subscription all together. Not only can Kodi Play your favorite TV shows one episode after the next, but wait till you see how I am able to handle playlists involving movies!
