no one talks enough about just how young L’s successors are. especially matt and mello. yeah 18 and 19 are legal adults, but they are still teenagers, they are still just kids. not to mention mello was in the MAFIA since he was like god know when, probably 15 or 16. he’s killed god knows how many. and he barely turns an actual adult, without any traces of the word “teen” in his age, when he gets a burn scar around half his face, and he’s in full leather and he’s carrying guns and shit and ohmydays it’s so baffling to me. and then matt, who never even turns 20, is driving this fancy car like he’s been driving for 20 years, going around life like he’s had 35 years of experience, like you can really see how the world aged them.. like MATT IS STILL A TEENAGER WHEN HE DIES..
