Contrapoints made a whole video about JKR and generally it was pretty meaningless "yeah shes bad but being cancelled is so hard for us rich people" stuff you've heard a million times before but then right at the end she reframed her whole argument to centre around the idea that jkr and other TERFs are only like that because mean trannies on Twitter are mean to people and by people she means herself but also those poor rich terfs.

It's made worse when you see Amber Heard gets to continue working on Warner Bros films despite there being so much audio evidence against her backed up by a history of domestic abuse against past partners.

If you call yourself a feminist and side with Amber Heard because she's a woman regardless of all the evidence against her, you are a stain on the feminist name.

Domestic violence isn't gendered, treating it as such erases victims and makes it harder to get help - it's already harder in the case of men due to traditional gender roles and societal views of men

Claire Parry death: PC Timothy Brehmer cleared of murder

Timothy Brehmer, who worked for Dorset Police, strangled Claire Parry but says it was an accident.

Brehmer said he strangled her by accident during a "kerfuffle" in his car.

He said when Mrs Parry refused to leave his car he tried to pull her out before he "bundled" into the vehicle in an attempt to push her.

The defendant said his arm "must have slipped up in all the melee" and that he left the car without realising Mrs Parry was "poorly".

Mrs Parry, from Bournemouth, died in hospital the following day from a brain injury caused by compression of the neck.

this is probably the weakest justification I've read for murder because last time I checked your arm slipping doesn't cause someone to die due to having their neck compressed.
