Itzal’s a sweet boy who spends most of his time wandering around the cemetery and swamp. I’ve been told that he used to be a shadow, but some altercation with the Ruler of his realm has lead him to become something resembling human.

I say resembling because while he looks human, there are some nuances to his current form. For one thing, he never ages. Another, he is mute, though the reasons why still are unknown to me.
