You guys, I reblogged this 2 days ago out of desperation. Today I was looking through my old wallet for coins to go to the vending machine because that’s all I can fucking afford. I haven’t touched this thing since July/ August. When I found a disappointing 15 cents in the coin pocket I went to the billfold to see if any coins were in there. That’s when I saw them. 5 crisp bills amounting to $22. I literally screamed and danced around my room out of joy before remembering that I’d reblogged this post.

„Your face is burning, Levi.“

„It’s nothing.“ He replies and continues on the work that has been haunting them for a while now. In fact Levi doesn’t feel all that well. Hasn’t for the past hours already, but he can’t imagine to leave Erwin alone with all this work. This man deserved a break more than him.

Levi tries to focus but all that he manages to write down are a few scrawly words before he buries his face in his hands. He sighs softly enough to think Erwin can’t hear it.

“Levi, go lie down on my couch.”

“No, I’m fine.”

“That’s an order.”

A little indignant about this, Levi gets up and sits down on the man’s couch. He still doesn’t think it’s necessary to stir all this ruckus around a little bit of fever. It’ll go away in no time, anyway. “This is unnecessary.” He complains, but lets his head fall against the back.

Erwin doesn’t say anything. He simply gets up and vanishes for a bit, before he comes back with a blanket and a bowl filled with a steaming liquid. “You have to eat something.” He takes his chair and positions it right in front of Levi who raises an eyebrow.

“Are you seriously going to feed me like a little brat?”

“To each their own.” Erwin says but then sighs. “Please?”

With a shrug Levi opens his mouth and allows the other to feed him. It’s chicken soup, still warm and leaving a trail down his throat. It actually feels good to be taken care of once in a while. Once they finish Erwin pushes him down and places a soft kiss onto Levi’s forehead.

“Get well.”

Blinking, Mike noted Levi’s reaction, and he reacted equally. Mike pulled away his hand, and settled them down at his sides. For a moment, he glanced down, seeing the way Levi reaction. “You’re fine?” Mike asked mostly in disbelief, but he saw how Levi looked. It was far from the truth.

He listened attentively, biting back his own comments. He had to trust Levi. Mike wished he didn’t, but he knew Levi must’ve been acting this way for some reason. 

“Maybe… maybe you should call the hospital.” Mike said under his breath. “I won’t if you don’t want me to though.” He wanted to be more abrasive, but he felt his own thoughts being resisted. How could he tell his apartment owner what to do? Mike didn’t want it to affect him negatively.

“Okay, I won’t fuss. I’m sorry.” Mike was a little insincere, but he could bring himself to mean his words. For the time being, he retrieved his bag, and stepped away. “Do you want me to leave you alone?” he asked

The tall blond was the only one around - sad enough that this was the last connection he had to something he would not even call a friend. They just lived together. Levi started to have the feeling that something in his life went utterly wrong.
