Sharing this fanfiction again for everyone who liked my Host Club/Lost Ligh AU recently! A lot of them were inspired by these first OHSHC headcanons.

Hello everyone! I’m aware this won’t be seen by most of you since I don’t post here anymore, but seeing as people keep reblogging some of my older posts for some reason (the Host Club Headcanons keep coming back of all things), I just thought I should come to say hi. Especially now that the Lost Light comics are coming to an end too.

First things first: I did a huge cleanup on this blog. I basically removed everything that I didn’t remember liking, writing or posting. I mostly left what was in my original tags, like my older drawings and all the magical robots that I suspect you followed me for (if not, why did you follow this blog? I want to know!). I basically only left things that I know people enjoyed, and it makes this space feel a lot less cluttered to me, especially not that I’m not nearly as much into transformers as I was before. So you’re welcome to look into my older tags if you want to! They’re all in the “about me” section of this blog.
There’s only one thing that I know for sure at the moment, and it’s that I want to keep drawing and writing. I, unfortunately, can’t draw digitally at the moment because using a regular graphics tablet is really painful. This is why I mostly turned back to traditional art. I haven’t picked up a pen seriously in a long time though, so I’m still at a stage where I feel like I’m figuring out how to draw all over again. Which is completely fine by me because it will be a journey of self-discovery! I will try to share some more sketches and fanfictions from now on. In fact, I already have started posting a new story! I am also thinking about joining the Lost Light fest again to celebrate the end of this wonderful series.
Finally, and I’ll keep it short: I still haven’t figured out what it is I want to do. My health got better overall but it’s at a standstill where, although I still show some symptoms, nothing is improving much. If I’m not careful, the pain easily comes back. I thought I had decided on what degree I wanted to have, but it turns out it probably wasn’t the right one for me. I’m getting a lot of help right now to figure things out, which I’m extremely grateful for. This is one of the main reason why I don’t really go to Tumblr or any social media anymore; being connected all the time is too much for me at the moment. I take breaks in-between being very active and being very silent.
In other words: if you’ve recently joined this club, welcome! I don’t post often, but I hope you enjoy whatever it is that I will share from now on. If I decide not to post for a long time, you’re more than welcome to go look into my older content! I may not post often anymore but I do see every single one of you who interact with what I created, and it always makes me happy to see that people actually enjoy what I shared here.
In the meantime, I’ll dabble into whatever strikes my fancy. See you around! :)

Summary:
After millions of years of abusing his hands for the sake of his profession, Ratchet had figured they would start seizing up. What had started as simply a dull pain or aching in his joints had now turned into a full-blown, irreversible condition. He simply couldn’t have predicted when the disease would really start affecting his day to day life, and he had given even less thoughts about the consequences of living with said disease for a mech other than himself.
This is a really self indulgent fic for me. I have psoriatic arthritis and Ratchet’s condition at the beginning of MTMTE really reminded me of mine so I felt that it was appropriate for me to write about it. Enjoy!
I really enjoy sketching / painting Tailgate’s holoform with a plush Cyclonus... it makes me wish I could own an actual doll of the two. Actually I might do just that! I even found a great model for it already (●♡∀♡))ヾ☆*。.
I used a mix of watercolors, watercolor pencils, coloring pencils and markers and edited the picture in photoshop. I really enjoyed making it but it was more difficult on the hands since it’s on a tinier scale.

I just realized that TFCon Toronto happened in the same hotel as CostumeCon 35, which I went to earlier this year.
I remember one of the ladies working at the Starbucks counter telling me how much she loved this event, especially because people made costumes of transforming robots (or not transforming but that’s not the point) and she thought the congoers were so full of passion for their craft.
I was in the building that TFCon was in. I could have been there.
I am SO getting to this con someday. Maybe next year if things are better? Who knows. But I really want to make a Transformers costume and get to go to this convention someday.

Some spoilers and general feelings about Lost Light #5 after the cut!
I can’t believe that the “Lug is not real” theory was actually CONFIRMED.
I loved the theory but I wish it hadn’t been real because it makes this comic even sadder than it already is. (I’m excited to read more about it in the following issues though!) o(；△；)o
Maybe Lug is a manifestation of Anode’s guilt towards her failure to give the Sentio Metallico a shape back in LL #4? Maybe Lug represents what the protoform could have been if it had survived.
Lug also only disappears after Anode admits to herself that what she did was wrong and asks for forgiveness. Considering all of this, when Anode was finally more or less at peace about what happened, maybe she also let go of Lug to be able to move on.
On a side note, Tailgate and Cyclonus still make me cry.
I’m just going to leave most of the headcanons of this post here. I just wanted to make a quick edit of the hosts and transformers comparison, nothing too serious!
I’m also VERY tempted to find good fits for the side characters of Ouran (the Lobelia girls, new hosts that arrive later in the anime, Haruhi and Tamaki’s fathers, etc.) ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ.
I think it depends on how you view the twins as characters! I could see Whirl fitting the part if you consider their mischievous personality as their main character trait and how they distanced themselves socially for a long time before meeting Tamaki. I’m not sure about what his relationship to Brainstorm would be if we compare him to one of the twins (or to any other character for that matter) but since it’s all headcanons made up for fun it could be any two characters with similar personality traits to the twins and ideally a close relationship to each other, or simply your favorite pairing of characters. Or you know, a crack pairing of two characters that would otherwise never get together but would make a hilarious “pretend” couple.
I’ve always related a lot to the twins as characters in almost every way except their troublesome nature, so I prefer referring to their mutual respect, love and support for each other rather than just their naughtiness. Also, if you consider the roles Hikaru and Kaoru have in their relationship, Chromedome and Rewind really fit the part in my opinion. But it is true that these characters don’t seem to fit together if you prioritize their tendency to prank people over other aspects of their personality.
