Betty, the jeep, was originally Claudia’s and the Sheriff couldn’t stand getting rid of it. So, they waited til Stiles was old enough to drive and had it switched to his name. And his mom named her Betty cause the blue reminded her if Betty Rubble’s dress. And that’s why he’s always so protective of the jeep.
