Like a month ago I messaged a craft group about accessibility for wheelchairs and the answer I got was “there’s a lot of stairs but we have cute boys who can carry you”. And it’s…not good. As a wheelchair bound person I largely depend on people when I want to go out and do *anything* so I’m used to it, I laugh it off, make an annoyed post about it and off I go. But I wanna just say a thing real quick.

Even if I wasn’t gay, wasn’t a survivor scared of men, getting help as a disabled person is just…Not a pleasant thing to us! Imagine for a sec how you’d feel being carried up a flight of stairs. You’re a grown person. You’re being touched in an awkward way. You’d rather do it yourself. You’re So Uncomfortable. It’s not where I look for the beginning of a romantic relationship. So like…could abled people stop doing this thing where they think helping us in a condescending and infantilizing way is cute? Cause I’m real tired. Just get me a ramp or lift and I’m cool. I don’t need a dating service when I’m just trying to go about my day

I must plug the app RollMobility here, which is a mobile app on which you enter your location and how accessible it is. My friend who uses a chair sometimes desperately wants more abled people to use this app, because there are WAY more of us than there are of chair-users. Every little bit helps!

Actually, no I’m not gonna keep my commentary to the tags.

This was my parents’ car after being plowed into by a pickup truck driver who was too busy on his phone to see the only other car on the rural road they were on. This crash nearly killed my parents, landed them in the hospital and rehab for months, and permanently disabled them.

PUT THE FUCKING PHONE AWAY WHILE YOU’RE BEHIND THE WHEEL. WHATEVER YOU ARE DOING ON IT IS NOT WORTH YOUR LIFE OR THAT OF ANOTHER PERSON’S.

When I have anons on, people are always like “omg you’re faaaat you’re a whale you probably stink!”

But like… yeah. I am fat, and it’s something I’m not ashamed of anymore. Yeah I have days where I’m insecure, but everyone does. I’ve learned to love myself and not dwell on other people’s opinions. At the end of the day, I cannot change people’s minds that don’t want to be changed, and I can’t force others to find me attractive or care about me. I’m done trying to be something I’m not.

Also it’s very funny when people tell me I stink considering I shower almost daily and always smell like strawberry lotion :3

If I can brighten one fat girl’s day and tell her I think she’s beautiful and give her a little bit of confidence, I’ve done my job.

OKAY also update post for chibi tobi charm: sorry for being so late, tobipril held me up hella on ordering these and also i added madara because,,, yeah seemed necessary.

we made some tiny edits to tobi’s design and cleaned him up for final production. updated details for both charms: double sided printing, front side epoxy, 3 inches, $12+shipping for a single charm, $22+shipping for both charms.
