Of course!

Auras are like colorful halos around a living thing. It's like an energy trail, helpful for deciphering someone/somethings true state of mind/being. An aura can be used to help sick animals, plants, and people.

I've found that for a beginning reader, it's easier to read a plant than an animal or human, since they're less energetic and don't move around/exude energy the way animals/humans do. If you don't want to start with a plant, start with your own hand or a sleeping animal.

To read as a beginner, try concentrating on something, like a plant or your hand, while holding it against a black/dark background. This can help the color be seen more easily and clearly! Then, let your eyes unfocus, and relax your vision. Let the aura show itself to you. Don't force it, and don't worry if you don't get it first try. Magick takes practice.

Every color of an aura means something different, and it's interesting to see how colors can clash and mix when one feels multiple emotions.
