I think when you go to the edges, physically that would mean deserts, jungles, remote and wild nature; and when you go to the edges in your own mind meaning meditation, dreams, psychedelics, then you discover there is an extremely rich flora and fauna in the imagination that has simply been ignored because our tendency has always been to look inward, to build inward and to turn our backs on the raging ocean of phenomena around us that entirely overwhelms our metaphors.
