He’s been doing this for a while now, definitely several years. I believe it’s a camp done with the church he attends, so it’s likely games/activities designed around the bible. I think he handles the sports or physical activities that they have during it. He coaches little league baseball, too, so he likely does something similar for the camp.
It’s fine if you don’t want to send your kid off to camp, but he isn’t the only counselor at the camp, he’s had the position for years, and if he was doing anything out of line/wrongly influencing the kids, I’m sure that he would be told that he is no longer welcome or needed to be a member of the camp. Kids talk. If he was putting bad influences out onto them, surely at least one kid would have said something by now, but he actually seems to be well liked by the camp and the kids who attend.
But yeah, your kid doesn’t have to go.
maybe he has not done anything wrong cause he is surrounded by people with his same mentality, even if he said/did something questionable, no one would say anything cause ehmm... he clearly has friends and family who think like him
