The sun shown brightly into (y/n)'s chambers as she slid her hairpin into place. This hairpin was very special to (y/n), it was given to her by Kouen as a symbol of their engagement. It served as a precious reminder of her fiancƩ and everything she loved about him, from his flaming red hair to his large rough hands, even his brazen and charmless nature. Suddenly a firm hand on her shoulder brought her back to reality. Screaming, she whipped around to find herself in the arms of the man she loved. "Did I scare you?" he asked, his deep voice was gentler than usual. "Maybe a little, fine a lot," (y/n) admitted, snuggling herself into Kouen's chest. "I'm sorry," he said softly before pulling his lover into a deep, passionate kiss. After the kiss was over (y/n) took Kouen's hand in her's, "I love you too, you geek. Apology accepted. Now let's go, before Koumei decides to give us a lecture on being late to our own engagement party."
An hour or so had passed and copious amounts of lords, ladies, high ranking officials had approached (y/n) and Kouen to bless the happy couple and their future. Among these honored guests were also royalty from all over the world.Ā In the midst the party (y/n) noticed a certain purple haired king looking right at her. She got her fiancĆ©es attention and then gave the signal to GO. They had almost escaped when they felt a presence behind them and turned around to see King Sinbad standing there. (Y/n) locked eyes with him before turning to her fiancĆ©, "Kouen dear, could you get me a drink?" "But my love, this man he-" Kouen protested. "Kouen," she said sternly, "I'm a big girl, I can handle him just fine. Now could you please fetch me that drink." "Yes dear," Kouen replied before disappearing into the crowd. "He's gone now Sinbad, who the hell invited you?" "I did, and I must say my dear you are looking as lovely as ever." "Cut the crap Sinbad, what do you want?" "So fiery, I'm glad to see at least your spirited temper remains in tact. I don't know why you're so suspicious my sweet, is it so wrong of me to want to see you again after all these years?" "You broke up with me Sinbad. Remember, I walked in on you with a prostitute in your lap. You then proceeded to tell me you were bored with me and never want to see me again. My, how the tables have turned." "Impressive, for an event that happened so long ago, you've recounted it with such detail." "Well Sinbad, it's kinda hard to forget. And with that (y/n) left Sinbad to recover in the wake of her resentment.
"So, how was your talk with that idiot Sinbad?" the prince asked his beloved pulling her closer to his side. "Honestly," she confessed looking up at her lover, "Kinda boring." "He's so weird," Kouen complained. "He really is." (Y/N) joined in. "How did you ever love him?" "I don't know."
