You know this obsession with the candles is especially even funnier when you think about how they upped the technological aspect in the show with f.e. this whole OP room and all but gotta stay romantic with all these candles instead of using a damn lamp.

when i need a lol i remember that clary dated jace for 15 days then learned they were RELATED so they she fell in love with simon who’d loved her for a decade but then they broke up 7 days later because she couldn’t forget her one true love jace and simon fell in love with maia after maia had 👀👀👀 with jace but just one time so no biggie and simon and maia had a beautiful blossoming relationship for 9 days but then maia’s ex jordan returned and somehow got in the middle of things and then simon decided maia hadn’t been there for him in his traumatic times and that isabelle had been there even though maia was just taking care of herself but sure jan okay and so simon and maia parted ways and so simon and izzy started making goo goo eyes at each other just like they did when they first met at the beginning of this all except back then izzy was with meliorn and then raphael because they had a drug thing and maybe real feelings but who knows and then charlie for 0.3 days before simon and izzy made it official except HA she caught on fire when they kissed meanwhile clary is back with jace who also kinda secretly thinks meliorn is hot.

also magnus and alec met and got married.

and that all happened in 4 months and 27 seconds.
