Nyaight of the Living Cat

btw for those unaware there is currently an anime on crunchyroll called Nyaight of the Living Cat wherein the zombie apocalypse happens but instead of people turning into zombies, they turn into cats

highlights:

no cats are harmed in the making of this anime

it is an ongoing source of emotional distress for the survivors that they are surrounded by cats and cannot pet any of them

one of the lead characters sprays water to get the cats to run away and has an emotional breakdown

it riffs off MANY horror movie tropes/iconic scenes, of which I am sure many are going over my head since i'm not actually that big of a horror buff

freddie mercury and ripley make cameos

it is of course also spotted with wholesome cat caretaking facts

anyway it's hilarious and ridiculous and if you like cats you should try it out
