good morning yall! i didnt leave my account for another year, what a surprise
anyways, i kinda thought this plot over better than it was, and i even like it. previously i only said that batman is killing now, but now i have much more ideas. i wrote them down there, if you want to read - feel free to do so!

starting with the name. my friend gave me idea that Batman's design looks like executioner's, so i decided to go with it. firstly it was Bat-executioner, which is too long, then it was Bat-ex which sounds dumb and now its Bat-axe which is more metaphorical, since he doesnt even have an axe
so, why killing? this motivation is actually driven by the venom in his blood, but he doesnt kill just any criminal like Vigilante(from Peacemaker), he only kills those he doesnt find able to change. you see, he was experimented on in Arkham Asylum and Joker was the one who helped him get out of there
it also answers the next question: why not killing Joker? Joker not only helped Bruce get out of there, he also helped him reform Asylum so it's actually save and helpful for ill people
events take place before Jason Todd joined bat family, which means no one to kill for Joker. and he didnt shoot Barbara, so Bat-axe doesn't have a personal driven motivation to kill him
batfamily and consequences? there's only Alfred, Nightwing and Batgirl. the last two left right after they found out that Batman started killing, and they joined Gordon in trying to catch the Bat. Bruce's decision to start ending criminals basically betrayed everything he was teaching Dick and Barbara, while Alfred is staying because Batman started doing something big and actually made Gotham change. both as Bruce Wayne and Bat-axe
what about Catwoman? well, she actually just broke with Bruce before the events started and she left the city to travel the Europe. and she comes back in the middle of the plot, and when she finds out how much everything changed in just few months she wants to find out everything, not just by watching tv. so Nightwing and Batgirl explain some things to her, and she wants Bruce to explain everything himself, but whenever she comes to Wayne's Manor she's met only by Alfred, and he never has good news for her
how story ends? well, Justice League intervenes. they believed Batman had everything under control, especially since not everyone in there has a no-kill rule. but it looked like everything went off, so they sent boy-scout Superman to change Bat-axe's mind and convince him to go to rehab in Metropolis. and while Bat-axe knows he can fight Superman and win he doesnt want to, because he would have to kill him in that case, but Clark doesn't deserve it, he's the brightest person Bruce ever known. so after one night of deciding he gives up to Superman and spends half a year trying to go back in shape
now what is more interesting, Joker? what is even his place in this story? originally i didnt plan anything big for him besides being as annoying as he is in canon. now i think adding batjokes there fundamentally, but it actually separates the plot into two paths:
1. Batjokes driven story. Joker is fascinated by Bat-axe: its a bigger, stronger and an active version of Batman. he's not only fighting criminals and investigating big cases with big players, he's actually making sure it won't repeat. Joker always knew that one bad day would change Batman, so he thinks they're in one boat now. but he's still not the most relatable partner, lol, he may help Bruce out or he may sabotage him. so Joker is the only person Bat-axe has after changing his ways, without even wanting to he warms up to him a little through random dialogues(like in Arkham Knight lol). eventually Bruce faces Bane, big villain here, and Bat-axe needs help, Joker joins him in fighting him. its needed to bring them closer during it, especially since Bat-axe gives Joker armored suit like in "The deadly duo" so he can actually fight. and Joker is the one who convinces Bruce not to kill Bane, because he can be rehabilitated, but on the way to prison Banr kills security guard. brings tension between Joker and Bat-axe(beating ass, tbf) and leads to Bruce's snapping, ending up with them kissing or smth. and since this moment they're more of a constant partners. but what happens when Bat-axe goes to Metropolis with Superman? during his rehabilitation Joker beats any villain or cop he sees, trying to find his Bat(w/o killing btw, it'd upset Bats), and after constant answers about Bat-axe leaving to change, he just gives up and lets bat-kids arrest him and dump at Arkham. clown's heart is broken
2. Story without Batjokes. Well, its pretty much the same, but Bat-axe isnt using Joker's help all the time, and he doesnt have any more motives to keep him close, since theres no feelings behind it. Its more of Joker falling for Batman harder, than their relationships developing. they do have partnerships, but Joker is also sleeping at Arkham after those. and when Bat-axe is going to rehab? the night before it he makes sure he locks up every villain he sees on the streets, including joker. but in just a month after Bruce wen to Metropolis, Joker already escaped and was turning the city into ashes just to attract Bat's attention, but nobody lets Bruce go back to Gotham, not until he goes back to form(he just lost a lot of muscles after pumping venom out nad his mind wasnt in the right place yet), so Superman has to fight Joker once, and then city relies fully on Nightwing, Batgirl and sometimes Catwoman. Joker is heartbroken only a little, since his dynamic with Batman shifted just a bit. This story sounds more like one of Batman's comic than a fanfiction
and thats the 2nd version of the render, since i cant decide which one to choose for when i open my commissions. hope you liked these ideas!!🤓
Drew this Joker to test out my new iPad. It started as a doodle, so there wasn’t really any thought behind it. Also, I’ve never had an iPad for drawing before - I did all my stuff on a Wacom Pro.
Let's see what comes out of it.
batman: europa has some of the most insane opening pages what the fuck. "him. me. our blood on each other's lips." "this time i'm ready to go all the way." okay yeah i'll be normal about that
